My fitness goals for 2008 are:

Cardio exercise 4 X week(gym machines, power walk, swim,)

Weight training 4 X week (2 upper body and 2 lower body workouts)

Yoga 3X week

Complete the ING 1/2 Marathon Walk in Ottawa in May.

Lose 3" on my waist and 3 " on my hips by June 2008.

Reduce my Body Fat % to 25% by June 2008.

Eat mindfully - be aware what I put into my body - it has to be something that will do me good - not just something that will make me feel good for a few minutes!

I work out at the gym, at home I have an elliptical and some weights for those days I just can;t get to the gym, and outdoors whenever possible, walking, roller blading, skiing or skating in the winter.

I have found the Cardio-Coach series fabulous. Any body else use them? they are a guided cardio workout, mostly using interval training , and can be adapted for any machine, or running and are very flexible at several different levels.

The narrator is really motivating and I find they keep me from being bored and make the workout go fast.

I actually love exercising and have done so all my life - it has never been something I don't enjoy (well hardly ever) - food is the problem for me - I just love to eat and I eat too much!!!!

Hi,

I really have been enjoying listening to F2F radio podcasts - and what I like about it is that you emphasize reality and reasonable goals - no extreme promises! I have been fighting the ubiquitous 10 lbs all my life but now that I am approaching my 50 th birthday - I really need to get it off for good. I have had alot of accidents and iinjuries in the past few years which prevented me from working out at the level that I need to to lose weight but I am healed and motivated and ready to go!

By the way I am another Canadian on board!
