So, what do you think of all that tapping?
I Can Make You Thin |
I've been following the golden rules and it is working (2 lbs lost each week without much effort). I'm not so sure about the tapping and the finger squeezing though. Has anyone had any success with these methods? Do you need to remember the exact sequence? I can't work up a craving on command like they seem to do on the show, so I guess I'll have to wait for that TCBY monster to hit...

Can changes really happen this fast, or is it just

Mike- I think it CAN happen that fast, especially for those of us who have been "unconscious" about eating. Just thinking about what you are eating and really tasting food will undoubtably make a big difference. I am also noticing changes already. Some foods I thought I really liked are only so-so.

Minu- You are so right about the consciousness aspect. I have been reading Eckhart Tolle's book, "A New Earth." It is all about living in the NOW - Being conscious of what you are thinking and experiencing and realizing that this present moment is life. I think this McKenna plan is an extension of how we should be living our lives on all fronts.

Well, here I am to start tracking my weight. As with others, I have tried about every diet out there with varying degrees of success. The thing I like most about this program so far is that it makes you focus on what you are eating. I usually run through my day grabbing stuff as it is available. I never really think about what I am eating (except maybe to feel guilty). This morning was my first meal eating "consciously." We'll see...
Good luck to all. |
