I, too, do not like the new way of entering exercise. This is the primary reason I joined Traineo. When I do enter the activity it will not save it so my calories burned still show zero. I'm on IE.

After 3 hours of planting a flower bed yesterday my entire body was super sore this morning so opted not to go to belly dancing. That'll have to wait. |

This is from Dr. Oz last week. Makes sense to me.
1. Thou shalt not wear pants that stretch. 2. Thou shalt not keep bad clothes in closet. (your old fat clothes) 3. Thou shalt not eat meat that walks on 4 legs more than once a week. 4. Thou shalt not graze. 5. Thou shalt not eat after 7:30 p.m. 6. Thou shalt not pile food more than an inch high on your plate or put food within 2 inches of the edge of the plate. 7. Thou shalt not chew food less than 20 times per bite. 8. Thou shalt not covet they neighbor's plate. 9. Thou shalt not carry small bills. (cuz they're easy to put into the soda & snack machines) 10. Thou shalt not eat while standing up or in a car. |

Sorry I missed last week - it was a terribly stressful week both personally & professionally for me. But...now I'm super motivated to get this dang weight off of me again. I haven't had chips or soda in 5 days!! I'm back to keep a food journal which I've neglected for 5 long weeks. I'll be weighing in on Wednesday morning.

This music teacher is on Spring Break!!!!
OPEN: Got back from an hour of Turbo Kick class this morning. Am going to walk in the park with a friend at noon & then practice tennis with my son this evening (since he made the tennis team at school). I am totally motivated to get this weight off of me. I've even kept a food journal this week after 5 weeks of not keeping one. I've learned to substitute pickles for chips (cuz they're crunchy & salty) and I haven't had any chips or soda in 5 days!! |

Thanks Stina!! I think I dang near passed out after 30 minutes of Turbo Kick. I didn't but that's why I quit so early. My face was beet red & I just couldn't cool down enough even with water & being under the ceiling fan. Even one of the gym workers was concerned about me. I had a very stressful & emotional week at work so that didn't help either.
OPEN: Jury Duty continues tomorrow & hopefully I'll be done and can go to the gym afterwards. There's a Muscle Flex class at 4:30. ** My son made the Tennis Team at school!!! |

Best Cruise-line/Destination??

I went on my very first cruise last summer (July 2009). We went on Carnival's Ecstasy leaving out of Galveston, TX. It was a 5-day cruise to Progresso & Cozumel, Mexico. It was the best vacation ever & totally worth the money. We had an ocean view room (no balcony but had a wonderful view from the window). In Progresso we went kayaking thru the mangroves - totally fun!! In Cozumel we just took a cab & went to the beach (Mr. Sancho's). We learned that we are not 'beach' people as we like water parks best. We just didn't like all the sand getting in your swimsuit & not being able to see the bottom like you can at a water park. Next time to Cozumel we'll try a shore excursion. They upgraded the Ecstasy just a couple of months later so it looks better now. Have fun!!!
