Bad news: My mole biopsy turned out "abnormal". I have to see a dermatologist. Sorry if this is too personal - I just spoke with my doctor and am kinda freakin out. Had to tell someone - and by someone I mean everyone! That's how I am.

Good point - I'm doing better right now than I normally would do at a time like this - where I can't work out and where I'm so busy with celebrating my birthday with everybody all week! I will hit next week hard though - I get my stitches out monday. Keep up the good work everybody!

Bad news: I just got this suspicious-looking mole removed. It was on my upper/inner thigh so my doc says I can't workout for the next couple days. I'm actually really disappointed.

Yeah, Hope - I get discouraged too especially when you work so hard, eat well, and then when you weigh yourself you don't lose anything. Or worse - you gain for some reason! Its just so annoying. What do I have to do, stupid body! I just think its harder for women - no offense guys.

Sigh. The dancing plan was foiled by my drunk friend who needed to be taken home early. So, I didn't work off any of the alcohol calories I consumed. Oh well, better hit the bike today!

Haha! Well, I was thinking more of the times when my friends and I drink before we go out, but hey, you never know! I just hate the fact that one little shot is two points! Oh, that sucks Minne. I'm the same way though - one or two splip-ups equals one or two pounds of weight gain! But you've got the right attitude - feeling sorry for ourselves isn't going to do anything. Just try your best this next week!

Yeah Christin - running outside is hard. I prefer to run indoors where I have control over the temperature! Plus my shin splints get worse for some reason when I run on black-top.



Let us know how the ultrametabolism goes.

I totally get the cake addiction, Minne! I'd eat it everyday if only I could. Good job at forcing yourself you work out even when you were tired.

Christin - yeah, Nhoua is my boyfriend. Thanks for the info - you always seem to be informed on all the new health stuff!



Welcome back Minne! I didn't eat cake either - yay for us! Keep up the good work - don't fall off the wagon! You've made so much progress - just keep reminding yourself of that.

I'm so freakin lazy today! Gosh I just don't wanna do anything at all! I'll do better tomorrow.

Wow, thats great Christin! What's UltraMetabolism about? Don't you just love it when your man notices you getting in better shape! Nhoua says I look thinner! It's very exciting!



Good for you switching to the core plan. It sounds like a healthier diet although I don't know a whole lot about it.



I have an appointment with my doctor to talk to her about my diet and exercise program and see if she has any suggestions.

30 min on the bike this morning - easy/medium

35 min on the bike this evening - easy/medium



My body seems to be fighting me every step of the way. It's all like: "But we just ran on the tred four days ago! We still have shin splints! And today we're bloated and crampy! And if we take Midol it'll just make us feel weird and jittery!!!!" Sorry, my body's being a jerk.



Add that to the constant cake cravings! (winks at Minne!) It's a recipe for disaster.

I'm adding a fourth goal: Get 8 hours of sleep as many night as possible.



P.S. I don't know if I'll be able to complete my 3rd goal of increasing my running time to 1hr. My right knee throbs when I run... I'm gonna try a knee brace.

That's understandable Shane. I hate when everyone wants to go out to eat all the time - it's hard to just eat a stupid salad or something everytime!
