i just got a look at your stats.. great work sir.
i don't see any trouble in at least trying to jog... if it hurts, stop! it might be a good idea to try walking for an extended period of time on the treadmill (maybe at an incline?) for a week or so just to see how your joints react to the pressure. honestly it seems like you're doing an awesome job as is, so maybe save the jogging endeavor for when you hit a plateau? maybe our local experts can shed more light on this subject... |

I would definitely recommend going to a specialty running shop and having your running analyzed.
I went to my local RoadRunner store and they do it for free. They analyze where you put pressure on your foot, what kind of pronator you are and they video tape you running on a treadmill to show you what kind of gait you have.. all this for free! They'll also measure all the regular stuff, like shoe size and arch type. After all this they'll recommend a bunch of shoes for you. Granted you're going to be spending at least $80-$100 on a pair of shoes, but if you're serious about running you should probably be getting a high quality pair of running shoes anyway. |

the most i've weighed is around 320 lbs.
today i'm somewhere in between 250-255 lbs (we all know how weight fluctuates). i graduated from high school almost 7 years ago and i now weigh as much as i did when i played high school football. although i'm bigger than most of my friends, it is kinda cool knowing that they all weigh more now than they did in high school. it's also awesome to see that i only weight about ten pounds more than the weight on my drivers license (i was around 245 when i was 16, i'm 25 now) |

my fave are the guys that come in and load the squat rack up with 400-500 pounds then only go half way when they squat!
but my current pet peeve has already been mentioned by jocelyn. don't worry my dear, only one more week till the new years resolution group is back on the couch. =) as one of my friends always says... LESS TALK, MORE ROCK!!! |

not knowing anything about your work out, you may need to pump up the intensity on cardio or switch things up a bit. your body may have adapted to the exercise you're doing. try different weight lifting techniques and venture into new forms of cardio.
don't forget... it's a marathon, not a sprint! just keep working and you will be rewarded! |

I have the same problem with fast food as well. Sometimes I have cravings that need to be met!
What I've been trying to do is cut some things out of the fast food I eat. For instance if you like cheeseburgers, try to get the burger with no cheese and no mayo. If you get french fries get a small instead of a large. Of course if you end up just binging, try to work a little harder at the gym to make up for it. |

i usually drink diet soda (diet dr. pepper is a fave) for the caffeine... but not very often, maybe 3-4 a week. as far as i can tell, it hasn't really hurt my weight loss
i was wondering, are there any "safe" drinks i can consume for a pick me up? |

if you want to mix up your cardio, try jump rope.
it takes a while to get good at, but it's a great workout. maybe getting good at jump rope is the type of challenge you're looking for. |
