Al I've been blessed enough to have those divine Canadian butter tarts back when I lived in Seattle, you are a stronger man than I. We had donuts tempting us today at work, but watching the guy suck the septic out really helped the resistance.

So any recovery tips? I spent a good 20 min stretching out my legs, gonna get some miles on the bike I think, maybe break up some of the lactic acid. Lots of bananas and my multi for potassium...

2.4 pounds down 20.6 to go... and I've extracted the promise from my hubby that the next time I start to swan dive off the wagon that he'll risk my hurt feelings and TELL me, cause I really don't want to lose this same weight again!

just so aggravating...I have already lost this weight once...and now I'm paying the piper for my own blatant laziness and having to lose it again. If I had just kept going with my program I'd probably be the 115 I was aiming for...

Morning was rough...dragging myself out of bed I really wished I could've gone to bed the 2 hours spent at the gym last night earlier. Looked like a pack mule leaving the house, gym bag, purse, suit for job #2, tote bag for lunch, dinner, snacks & tablet. So much prep work just to go sweat seemed ridiculous while I was bleary eyed tired. Now as I sit here with my breakfast in my belly and my body somewhat energized from it's return to exercise, it's quite worth it I think.

LOL...hubby got laid off to start the New Year off with a bang, so EVERYTHING is an expense right now. But for me it's an expense worth spending cause it eliminates the need to buy new clothes, which is where I'd gotten. All the pants that were my "fat pants", the ones that were a bit roomy but not falling off are now a bit SNUG! So I can either allow myself to go buy pants in a 12, or I can lose the weight to wear the ones I have. I also have a race planned for October Zombie Apocalypse Runand everyone knows the first rule of a Zombie attack is CARDIO!!!

Thanks, down my first pound...probably all water, but at this point I'll take whatever I can get that keeps me in the decreasing numbers, I was way too close to 150 for my liking. I can't wait to take some classes, but I think jumping right from the couch to body pump might be counterproductive. So I'll start with cardio and weights on my own for a few weeks, then in march I'll start adding the fun stuff like trx, boot camp, body pump. My gym's added some interesting looking small group classes...

I can't abide the taste of the metamucils of the world so I use fibercon, same general principal no nasty taste as it's in pill/capsule form. I've had a lazy intestine for years now, so that does help.

I'm oddly looking forward to the gym, I'm afraid to do any classes just yet, I think I'll wreck my fat ass if I jump in that full throttle. So tonight will be cardio for an hour MINIMUM followed by a circuit up in weights.

It's so easy to gain and so hard to lose...kind the reverse of my money which is so hard to earn and so easy to spend.
