I do something similar.

I use egg whites and turkey sausage and 2% cheese. It's loaded with fiber and protein!

Today I fit into a size 36 pair of pants! When I started I was wearing a 46 and it was a bit snug!

I also have to make new holes in my belts AGAIN!!!

I did have a scale victory too...I broke 60 lbs lost! I'm at 61 lbs!

Frequent eating & fast metabolism: myth or fact?
Fat 2 Fit Radio

"This is how I feel:
If you want to be a thinner and healthier person, you need to act and eat like that thinner person you want to become. Thinner, healthy people DO NOT fast for the purpose of trying to maintain their weight. Anything that you do that is temporary for weight loss, will give you temporary weight loss!"

I agree with you 100% Jeff!

I feel like people are always asking me about weight loss schemes and tricks. When I tell them there's no trick, just eating and behaving like a thin person a la nutrition and exercise, they don't want to hear it!

Thanks for keeping it real Jeff!

20 minutes of interval training on my elliptical trainer...

4 minute intervals of resistance levels 6-9...but today I tried out level 10 for a while...not too bad...I may have to incorporate it into my interval and go from 7-10.

In the past 3 and a half months I've gone from a 44 to a 36 in the waist department.

I went from being tight in a 2X shirt and now am perfect in a XL slim fit!

My belts need more new holes!!!

Five Reasons You're Awesome
Off-Topic & General Chat
Posted: March 09, 2009
Any awesomeness I might have is certainly derived outside myself.

But I believe I am awesome. The reasons are as follows:

1. My God, My Savior, My King --- Jesus Christ. I serve Him.

2. My beautiful wife --- both inside and out. She completes me.

3. My adorable, strong, and spunky son (born only a couple days ago!!!) He makes me want to be a better man.

4. The 100 or so broken-home teens to whom I have the privilege of teaching God's Word. They motivate me to walk the line; whether they realize it or not.

5. The 55 lbs still to be burned...

I'll be honest with you guys. I've not worked out since Friday.

BUT...Friday night my first son was born!!!

I have, however, maintained all my calorie, protein, and fiber goals.

My wife and I got back from the hospital late this morning.

I'm looking forward to starting up again with my exercise tomorrow.

What motivates you?
Motivation Tips

My motivation is my son in my wife's womb who's to be born in a month or so.

I want to be a healthy dad to play with him, love him, and raise him.

I also realize that he will most-likely follow in my footsteps whether he tries to or not...so I want to be the best person I can be...in all respects.

This is what motivates me.

30 minutes of interval training on the elliptical.

Did shorter cycles (3 minute cycles instead of 4 minute cycles) but didn't dip as low on the resistance as I usually do (5,6,7 instead of 4,5,6,7)

Ended up breaking my calorie record by 23!

Nice work Keith! I've gotten to the point where I can put on and take off all of my pants without even unbuttoning or unzipping! So I always need a belt!

If you really like your pants you may be able to find a good tailor who can take them in a bit so they'll fit.

Worth a shot right!?

What is the ideal female body?
Off-Topic & General Chat
Posted: January 22, 2009
I'll be careful since I am not a woman.

I don't think there's any one "ideal" body. People have different preferences and I think that's good!

I think the most important thing...for a man or woman...is to be healthy. Some are going to be larger than others.'

I think striving toward the best you can be is truly ideal. No two people are alike!

Does that make sense?
