WALKING
I Can Make You Thin

Haven't done a damn thing since week 1, day 2. So pathetic. After Sundays show with Paul McKenna, (I watched it last night) I plan on using those finger squeezing strategies to get myself to be "not so lazy." Today is day 1. Wish me luck.

You can always blow a snot-rocket when outdoors. I've seen it done many times, but was never able to do it myself.

Well. For sure the Paul McKenna way of losing weight stirs up some bad feelings for those who are only eating foods that are good for them.
How's it going?

I havent weighed myself yet. Today would be one week on the diet. I'm going to wait till tomorrow morning and I just pray that I have lost atleast a pound. It's gotta be very frustrating for L to not have lost anything at all.
What are your thoughts on emotional eating show?
I Can Make You Thin
Posted: March 24, 2008
I'm definetly not an emotional eater so the program wasnt very helpful to me at all. I wish he would have went a little more into the exercise component of this program. I did try the tapping thing a few times at work for stress reasons that had nothing to do with eating. Didn't seem to amount to much for me. I agree with the above post that exercise is very imortant. Although the study you quoted on only losing 10% of body weight in a year seems alittle ridiculous.

Trust me carol, you re gonna want to weigh yourself in about 5 days from now. I'm seeing a tiny bit of change in my stomach size and want to hop on that scale so badly!!! I have 3 days till weigh-in.

Hi everyone, Im 5 feet tall and weigh 130 lbs. the thinnest I have ever been is 112. I havent worked out in over 2 years which would account for the weight gain. The thing with us short people, as far as motivation goes, is that people are always saying how "small" we are. And that we don't need to lose weight but yet people who are 5'5 or 5'6 weigh 130 ponds. To say I'd like to be 100 pounds would be so unrealistic but honestly I'd like to be One-OH- something!!!!

Stitch, I agree with you completly. I cant stand healthy foods. I dont eat vegeables, fruit fish etc. EVER. Thats why this paul McKenna style of eating is perfect for me.

I know on the show, he mentioned not weighing yourself everyday. I was just wondering what everyone's plans are to weigh themselves next. I'm going to weigh myself in one weeks time which will be on Tuesday.

Hi everyone. I am 43 and probably in the worst shape of my life. I watched the show last night and was very motivated to give it a try. The thing I liked the most about it is that I don't have to go out and spend a fortune on healthy foods. Losing weight was always too expensive for me and half the time the fruits and veggies would wind up in the trash. There was no excuses for me to start today because i could go right in my fridge and eat what was in there. No calorie counting, no planning. I hope we will all be able to help one another through this forum that Mike set up. (Thank you Mike) The other one seems to big and way too many posts to read through. Im looking forward to next weeks episode on dealing with exercise.

Day 1 for me too. The show really makes you think that this could work. I know, for me, I tend to gain weight when I stop thinking about the foods that I am putting into my mouth. If your hungry, eat!! I love that line.

I started following the Paul McKenna style of eating today as well. It took forever to eat what I would normally just woof down in front of the TV. Good luck with this. I'll be amazed if this works.
