Johnson Up Day Down Day Dieters
Posted: July 08, 2009
Hi, I am new to JUDDD, don't have the book yet, so just feeling my way. I have had two semi successful down days, - there is no way I can stick to 500calories, had more like 750, but still pretty low and have lost 1.2kg.
I was thinking about doing down days on mondays, weds, and fridays, and having updays on the weekends otherwise I know it will be too hard. does that sound reasonable?
I have had non stop headaches this week, anyone else had headaches?

Hi I am new to this group. I have been struggling to lose 6kg!!! the kilos just keep creeping up and up and i hate it. forever fighting with food, fighting to be in control. Well this is it. I am committing to this 90 days to shift from 66kg to 61kg. (I should be able to do it in 30 days, and keep it offer for 60 days???) but been trying for 10 years!! I lose 0.5 after sweating for 10 days, then I put it on in one weekend.... I need some help and motivation!

Ok - today I did 30 minutes walk and 30 minutes swim.

Tomorrow I am going to try get up early and go to gym to do 30 minutes cardio.
So is high protien, ultra low carb bad?

I'm doing the Four Corners diet, which is high protein, <50g carbs per day. Based on Atkins, but includes yoghurt and high fibre items and unsaturated fats. haven't heard of the idea of "shocking" your system - what's that about? i thought the idea is that eliminating the carbs gets you to start burning body fat, and also, after it's out your system, stabilizes your blood sugar and prevents cravings? I'm hoping this is a fairly sustainable eating program... any comments?
