It's absolutely great for getting your heart rate up. I used to do it before tennis practice. But if you're to skip, best to not do it on too hard of a surface or it gets bad on the knees.

Hm....well I bought a 2.5 lb. each at the Sportchek store. They're Nike and they seem to be fine for moderate trail walking so far. After walking for 10 minutes, it's even easy to forget that I am wearing them.

The reason I mentioned that is because it's mentioned on a lot of different websites and logically it would make sense because wouldn't you rather spread your calories out during the day better so that you have more energy for actually moving around etc?

If you can resist, you should really try to avoid eating 3 hours before bedtime because that is when your metabolism starts to slow down in preparation for your body going to sleep.

switch the righthanded/lefthanded option . and there's no way to prevent it. after a while it won't be sore b/c your muscles will be used to the moving around. if it's really bothering you, take some pain relief medicine like advil.
