i drink whey protein mix.

i just put the mix in water and find it plenty easy to drink.

is it possible to take on too much protein. i drink alot the days i do weights, but days i just do cardio i might have a glass before or after as well.

you may already be doing it, but for me it's all about boosting my metabolism.



i eat 5 - 6 meals a day. always, always have breakfast in the morning even when i'm not hungry. mid mornign snack. lunch. afternoon snack get my dinner in before 7pm, and have a snack a few hours later too.



read up on it... if you didn't already know about it.

apple-carrot-ginger is my favorite.



when i'm detoxing or 'cleansing' and i'm trying to drink beastly veggies like beats or spinich, i just cut it with watermelon juice. also, i usaully buy the watermellon juice from the natural food store. it's way worth the price to save the headache.

i'm recently doing very well with some new daily eating habits and workout routine, but i know my biggest weekness.



as a college student, it's not uncommon for me to drink an average of 3 or 4 pitchers of beer a week. understand that this is down from my very overweight college binge drinking days, and it's almost always "lite" beer, but my social circle is beer drinkers and bar goers.



any advice on how to cut back or eliminate the amber suds while still getting out to the pub to spend time with friends?



(ps- anyone want to be a motivators?)

i still love me a diet now and again... or a regular if i'm really cheating.



to cut back on regular or diet, i just stopped buying the stuff at the stores all together. all i have in my fridge is water. and when i'm out to lunch (the hardest time to pass on it for me) i order a water and a diet. drinking out of the two glasses will slow you down on the coke glass. so maybe you go from 2 refills to 1 to none. then eventually to no cokes at all!

i spring a few extra bucks for the already peeled baby carrots.

i love the taste personally, but the crunch and finger-foodiness make them an awesome substitute for meals where i used to always have chips or fries.



sometimes i dip them in hummus as well.



i've also swapped in organic all natural salsas (tomato, corn, and bean) for other dips and spreads i used to eat too much of.



that's my two cents.
