LADIES... Sorry I haven't been around much. A & P is kickin my butt... and the hurricane, well..... yea that was interestting.. it missed us... but barely. we still have the eacuees from south of us... Anyhoooo, I hope you are all doin well!! congrats colleen on the jeans!!! i'm so excited for you!

Sorry I haven't been around or encouraging... i'm going back to school myself and transferred positions/branches at work... things have been uber crazy... HOWEVER.... i've managed to hit a MAJOR MILESTONE this week!!!

K everyone I'm back... from VACATION!!! I wana go back to the beach really!!! However, Its time to get back to the ole grind and I started classes today so I really need this place now more than ever to help me stay motivated and accountable!!!

Well I hopped on the scale this morning and seem to have gained 2 of mine back... BUT I'm quite certain that I didn't eat 7000 calories yesterday so I know its temp. I'm so excited to go on vacation but i'm sure I'ma gain it back! BUT i hope not. Hopefully I'll be getting enough exercise to compensate for the extra BAD stuff Ill be eating!!

WAy to go EVERYONE!!! We've kicked some serious booty this week!!! I'll be vacationing at the beach beginning this Saturday so I won't be weighing in next week, BUT I'm sooo excited about actually running on the beach!!! I used to when I lived in Florida. And it was so much cooler!!

I'm down 5 lbs this week. i'm so excited. I'm not going to quite make my goal for my vacation....I was hoping to be under 200 by the time I went, BUT i think that getting sick knda threw that out the window for me. But its ok. I've made excellent progress and It just pushes me to want to push myself more.

Hey girls... I was right inthe midst of sending out an email this morning to you all, and my electricity went OUT. Sooo I lost it, HOWEVER, I wanted to post here hoping you would all see it. Anyhoo, I didn't fair so well on the weight loss this week...But I didnt gain so its important to be able to maintain too. My main reason for this post is to let you all know, that I've gotten ur messages and I'm thinkin of ya'll....especially u Debbie...



I'll be back online this evening barring no real damage from the power outage with the computer at home...

Sometimes it happens that way. Don't let it deter you from eating right and doing some exercise. I have a very strong feeling that in your case Joanne, that your building muscle and thus why your not noticing the difference on the scale. Sooo try to stick to the healthier choices and the workouts. GOOD LUCK and I'm so happy to hear that you've lost another lb!!! WAY TO GO....

Good Morning ladies... Its Saturday, and I'm all alone at work. My husband and I went out and met a bunch of friends of ours at a local bar last night to see a band play. Therefore we didn't get home until almost 1 a.m. So the LAST thing I wanted to do this am was get outta bed and come to work. Imagine... me at a bank, in a hoodie and some work out pants. hAHAHAHAHAHAAH... Yep, thats what you'd see if you drove through my bank today. Not that anyone sees me really, i'm working the drive thru, cuz thats all thats open on Saturdays. But its still amusing to me the things that I can get away with wearing on Saturdays. In all honesty, I'd probably get written up for my attire if one of my superiors were to come in today. Or, well, most any saturday. (can you all tell that I looooooooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee working on Saturdays??) haha...

The only good thing about it is....the lighting back here is WONDERFUL for eyebrow shaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, i'm takin the opportunity to re-shape my nails instead of shaping my eyebrows. I hate that I do not have email here. It drives me insane. and most of the internet is blocked from here too, But for now, i can visit traineo, and our local news site. Not very much goin on there either.



K back to last night... It was the first time that I've seen several of my friends in like... months... so It was the first time they've seen me 36 lbs lighter!!!! It was fun to see some reactions. and makes me want to try that much harder. But the proof is in the gettin dressed process. Back in May, I was wearing.... 24 jeans. last night, I wore size 20 out to the 'club' WITH a BELT, and they were still falling off of me. That to me, Is the biggest and best accomplishment so far. jeans that i could not even get buttoned a little over two months ago, are suddenly barely hanging on.



As for this week, i've NOT been exercising. I've felt entirely too bad to do so. But Starting Monday, Its back to the 6 am 2 mile in 30 minutes walk. I will also be going to register and pay for my exact classes, and getting my books.



My classes will be here in the town that I work, from 6 pm-845 pm tuesday wednesday and thursday...and maybe monday... This is also where my gym membership is, so When I get outta class at 845, I'll go to the gym and work out for at least 1/2 hour before goin home on those days. Even if its just cardio. I'm so excited. And I've seemed to ramble and ramble and ramble... so i'm going to shut up now, and go file my nails some more. Have a fantastic weekend ladies....And BTW... WHERE IS CaTHy????????????????????????????????????????????? ???

CONGRATS JANE!!!! I'm so proud for you!!!



While I was sick I had a temporary gain of like 3 lbs... but its gone this am. Thank goodness!!! So i feel better finally and ur being successful... So all is well!!

k where are my girls at?? we've not been keepin in touch very well lately. I have just gotten over a week long migraine and am still taking antibiotics for a staph infection. My week just kinda sucks...

This is my all-time favorite quote. I'm very much a "black and white," "all or nothing" thinker. If I screw up just once, then I've blown it and might as well quit. This reasoning is how I got so fat, and why I haven't been able to lose it until now. If I made one tiny mistake on my "diet" or took a day off from the gym (that usually turned into 2, 3, or 4 days) then it was automatically a failure, and that gave me license to binge and sit motionless for days at a time. No more, I say!



I don't want to spend my life fat and miserable. I don't want to die of an obesity-related disease like heart disease or diabetes. I want to run, and climb mountains, and go skydiving, and be seen by society as intelligent and hard-working (neither of which is ascribed to obese people). Basically, I want a happy ending, not a sad one.



So, regardless of how I got fat or how long I've been fat, I'm going to change my ending. Every day I'm going to get up and be thankful that I'm here and that I have the opportunity to prove my strength to myself and the world. What an amazing gift to be able do such a thing! Many people go through life wondering whether they're strong or not - I know I am, I've proved it.



This quote can apply to so much other than just weight loss, which is part of why I love it, but it's also so perfect for my weight loss efforts. I can't start over. I wish I could go back to when I was 16 and had a flat stomach, but I can't. I have to start now, today, with what I have, and work my way to that point again. Tomorrow never comes - there's only today. So, putting off your weight loss efforts "until tomorrow" means they will never happen. You have to do it now, today, and make the choice to be healthy and happy.



And if I "fall off the wagon" again? That was yesterday - this is today. And today is all I have, so I need to make the most of it! It won't be easy, but it's already worth it

Thanks Cathy. I'm not very certain about this week. I'll know tomorrow. I'm so ready to be under 200 lbs I could scream. And I probably will once I make it that far. I got up and walked this morning, and I could tell that I'd been slackin off... So I gotta get it back in my head to STICK WITH IT.

OK Ladies... i've been MIA for a few days...and I guess I need to catch up huh?? Great job Cathy on ur loss!!



I feel yucky today. I didn't get home until late last night therefore I didn't walk this morning. And I certainly wish that I would have. I haven't had time to try my hand at the jump rope much. I've been pre-occupied. For some reason I have this overwhelming urge to scrapbook and stuff, so I've been searching through photos and cropping and cutting...its ridiculous really. Maybe I'm just trying to get it done so that when I start school I won't have so many projects or something.



Anyhoo, I'ma stop ramblng now. I'll catch you all later.
