work out clothes question

Wow, you guys are doing great! Kim, I recently bought some work out clothes from Wal-Mart. Good quality and great prices. I got the tank style with the built in bra. Lots of support around the middle. This is nothing I would wear in public at the weight I'm still at, but at the house it's perfect. Just a thought.
HOW many calories?! It's a scary high amount!

I tried Weight Watchers for years. Now I'm counting calories (using daily plate at Livestrong.com), trying to make good nutritional choices but still allowing for treats along the way. I'm eating WAY more calories than when I was doing Weight Watchers, I'm loosing weight, and the best part is I don't feel deprived like when I was eating less.

Bethany - you have not failed until you give up. A year from now what happened last month won't matter as much as what happens in the next 12 months. Dig deep and find that motivation to get back on track. You will be so glad you did!

This sounds basic, but I've recently rediscovered bike riding. Haven't really done it since I was a kid. I live in Florida so the nice weather finally started and I can't get enough of riding my bike on the weekends.
Looking for a good Cookbook.

I like the allrecipes.com site. Stopped buying cookbooks once I found it. The best part is not only do you get the recipe but many people rate it and comment about how they tweaked it. You can bookmark favorites.

Ziploc - as previously stated, but key for portion control and convenience

Pretty lunch box - OK, this one is for the girls, but just having a pretty lunch container to pack at night and take to work the next day seems to help

Steamer - steaming veggies is so easy and healthy

Grill - charcoal is my preference - great for the upcoming warmer months

I started the year at about 240 and had two medium / long term goals. The first was to be at 200 by my birthday in September and I'm well on my way at 224. The second was to be 180 by year end. That will make me no longer in the obese category!

After I reach 180 (no longer using the word if) then I will decide my goals for the rest of the journey.

I've been using the daily plate on livestrong.com (based on Russell's recomendations in one of the shows). It allows you to do the same thing.

I'll second Russell's comments.

I just bought the jello sugar free mouse cups. 60 calories and really good! But nutritiously not as good as your yogurt and apple sauce, though.
