The weight loss is actually all about getting my running back up to par and to be in general shape for anything I try my hand at.
I was light loaded just because I don't have the time for another injury. The last one I had put me in rehab for 5 years on and off... Live to tell the tale though so not to complain.I am focusing on my running and biking right now, try to get 4 runs in a week and a good long run or long bike. I find that focusing on my cardio pushes me to fix my diet. I used to be a 50k runner so right now I am trying to run a 5k (2.5-3ish miles) most days. You? |

It is just under 1 right now and I need it to be more like 1.2. I have some nails in my femur that I have to keep well protected and all that. I have no interest in an aggresive canopy.
I am also jumping at 18,000AGL-ish because we start out at 6,000AGL. That makes for a quicker loss of energy on a high pull. I was throwing in a lot of front risers and could barely flare! The old ' i needed the excersise' for an off airport landing...I love it! |

Home DZ is Longmont, CO. Come on over and catch a nice view of the Rockies in the back of your scenes.

I don't need to downsize this year....15lbs of weight over the winter brought my wing loading down and landings are taking much more effort!
Anyways, I need my canopy to be nice and easy on me due to existing rods and injuries...so the weight has got to go. Any ideas on calories burned in the sport? I did a high pull last week and I think that was a heck of an upper body workout! |
