show number 10 doesn't download on itunes for me. It's been like that for a couple of weeks now. I've heard the rest now but hate to miss out on even one show.

I don't have overweight kids but what I do to try to do to prevent it is have no junk in the house. If we are shopping he can get a treat. I Try to get mostly healthy kids meals if eating out. We are home alot and if there isn't any chips or chocolate there to eat then I figure you're not going to get that fat on fruit , wholegrain bread, vege soups ect.

I also talk to him alot about what happens if u eat too much junk food. I tell him if u eat too much u get fat. It's that simple. Making sure ur kids have plenty of outdoor time also helps. On the down side my sons so used to seeing me diet he only wants to drink diet coke like me. I feel like a child abuser letting my son drink that stuff so now I order juice for him whenever possible.



My memory at school was usually the overweight kids had parents to match. When I visted their homes there was usually a huge amount of junk food on offer.

This was the most powerfull podcast to date. It was very real and I think more needs to be done to show ppl like this that surgury isn't the answer Before they undergo the cut.

I've never really understood it. Why have surgury to make u eat less when you can do that for free. I know there's alot more to it then that but I'd rather see 50k spent on raw camps where u eat only/mainly raw food. Or places that teach ppl the skills to lose the weight then just cut them open.

I'm Forest a long time listener of fat guy radio and I;m loving this new podcast even more. Really great job guys.



I gained weight with babies my highest weigh in 02 was 230 Now I'm down to 132 after losing 50 pounds last yr after I had my second baby.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble Cardio. All you can do is pick urself up and start again. Just keep at it and never give up the battle.



I'm not weighing in this week, I'm doing a week long challenge not to weigh. It's so hard! Can't weight for the weekend. Literally LOL

For me I try eat raw. Fruit for breakfast and lunch. Salad for dinner. It's really hard to gain weight eating like that. Hard to keep up but I've got the fruit part down pat. Dinners I vary with vege stir fries, baked potatoes with only a slice of cheese for topping ect.



I do actively limit bread, pasta and rice. 1-2 times a week is what I try for.



the upside is I'm not hungry and can still eat lots. I walk 30-60 mins a day is my main exercise.
