Mostly working for me but still have trouble just eating at "meal time" rather than making sure I am hungry.
However by slowing down I am not eating nearly as much so I think it is balancing out?

Shiana I too want to loose about 60bs...good luck to you and you will do well.
Good to you and you other youngsters who are doing this while you are still young and have a better life ahead as you get into shape both in body and mind!

LOL Elle we are on the same page with the emotional thing!
I guess "just wanting something to nosh on or that cookie sure looks good" isn't emotion but that's OK the tapping thing might help to divert us!

I have started walking again...as the weather gets better here I will do it more. I really enjoy step aerobics classes but I am not up to that after an almost 2 year layoff so walking works for me and my dog Belle is very happy to come with!

Can I say "me too" to Elle?
Although DH and I were buying I brought home a big part of my dinner last night...spinach and shrimp salad...cause I was close to full and had some cheesecake waiting at home for me...low carb/sugar since I am diabetic and was plenty full.
I will probably have the rest or some of the salad for lunch today so I get to enjoy it twice! LOL

This isn't a "diet" but a way of eating/living...no forbidden foods or calorie counting etc...
Of course if you have an allergy or are like me diabetic then of course you don't eat anything you want but other than that it's all good
We shall see right?

Made it through the Easter eating and did very well if I say so myself! LOL
Hope everyone did as well and have started their week with a great outlook and havent' have to use any tapping yet! LOL

Thought it was good and I liked that he did an overview of the whole program from last week.
As for the tapping I havn't had the chance to really use it yet so I am reserving judgement on if it works for me.

OH How I hate Mr Scale! LOL
One way you can weigh daily and have it work for many is to record that daily number and then divide by 7 to get a more "real" number.
I think I will try once a week and weigh on Sunday or Monday.
Hoping for a good number this week!

HI Everyone
I am Cathie and a long time overweight lady who has lost it through low carbing but just can't seem to keep it off. I am 52 years old and lucky enough to be a sahm and wife. Since I am a diabetic I really love the low carb lifestyle but once I miss a goal...for example stalling out in my loss for three weeks I just seem to loose motivation and there goes my weight again.
I decided after watching the first show that by combining I Can Make You Thin with low carb and I should be able to get this under control. I can't eat exactly what I want but I have decided to avoid the stuff I really don't like and that way I am meeting as much as that rule as possible.
I weighed in at 205.6 on Wednesday...sigh I was hoping I wasn't over 200 but suspected when my XL clothes got tight I was there. My goal is 140lbs and I hope to loose 2 lbs a week...taking it slowly so hopefully it will stay off this time!
So far the hardest thing is to tell when I am full...I am trying to check myself when I think I am full by waiting 5 minutes or so before making the final judgement. Some days I have been fine but some days I have found myself getting hungry after 1.5 hrs after eating and it is probably that I hadn't really gottne full.
Sorry to ramble on and if some one would like to be accountable buddies then I am up for it!
