I am working with a personal trainer and he is pushing me appropriately hard. Harder than I would if I were on my own.

Lots of progress. and I am happy.

However, today he beefed up the leg press to 380lbs. I could handle it but I got VERY DIZZY and nauseous.

I didn't do so well on caloric and water intake this morning. Is that the cause?

i felt much better after a eating a banana, handful of wheat thins, and a subway salad. I am also back on the water.

What typically is a good food to take in to avoid dizziness?

Have I sabotaged my metabolism?
Diet & Nutrition Tips

Hi Gabriel,

okay, you are about to read a lot of "I" statements. I tend not to tell others what to do... because I am not trained in this whatsoever. I do tell people about my experience and allow others to draw their own conculsion on what's best for them. If you want more info... simply message me.

Firstly, I met with a dietician and my doctor to work out a meal plan. I experienced similar weight loss as you did when I first started my weight loss plan. To date, I have lost 94 pounds and have successfully kept it off. I lost a lot of weight at the beginning (similar to your rates). I started at 300 pounds and in the first few weeks, I lost a considerable amount of weight.

You will receive a lot of advice here... some good... some bad... some from people who have specific professional training... others not so much.

From personal experience, I found it difficult to achieve a healthy-balanced intake at the sub-1000 caloric level. I have several tools that I use to achieve a new healthy lifestyle. Msg me if you want more info. Above anything, I have found that consulting with health PROFESSIONALS really helped me.

The next thing that comes to mind that may be helpful to you is that I log all of my intake into fitday.com... there are other sites too. These sites do a good job highlighting nutritional deficits that I am experiencing.

Good luck in your journey, personally... I do not believe that you have sabotaged your metabolism and I think you can be on a healthy track within a short amount of time. Message me if you want more insight.
