At the moment I'm considering yoga, belly dancing, or kickboxing. I was wondering what other people do and what you feel it gives you?

I don't take group x classes, but I do take dancing lesson in a group setting. East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop. I can burn up to 400 calories in a single class! It is LOADS of fun, too! Knowing how to dance makes me feel graceful in all of my movements all day long. I can't explain it, just an awareness of the beauty of movement. The people you meet are a hoot, too! A lot of real characters like to swing dance. I recommend dance lessons to anyone. You don't even feel like you are working out, but you are sweating and getting the heart going!

I take Yoga, spinning, and boot camp, all for different reasons
Yoga is a great workout, builds core strength and flexibility, great compliment to any other class or exercise that you do, or for improving performance in any sport.
Spinning cause the weather is ick right now, but today was beautiful!
Boot camp is an hour of getting my butt kicked, its designed to push your body to its limit and hold you there for 60 minutes. Its a crazy mixture of different exercises done in sets, repeated til you wanna puke. I freakin love this class

I love dancing so my fave is a dance-based interval training cardio class. It's so much fun and I love hip-hop music and salsa music so I'm happy to move to that.
Pilates is great (but you have to find a great teacher) because it's a workout but it's relaxing at the same time. After the class, I feel like a squishy marshmallow. It's goooood.
Tomorrow I'm trying a boxing class. I'm not that excited but I have to find a way to get rid of my batwings/tuckshop lady/canteen lady arms! Will report later.

Well my arms and hamstrings are sore today! The boxing class was a laugh (3 uncoordinated women and 1 guy in the class). It was hard work at times but really funny other times, especially when my friend nearly punched me in the face when she kept missing the padding! There were high-intensity cardio and stretching/core work exercises. Not as much fun as the dance-based cardio classes I go to but the boxing class is a great compliment to cardio and weight training. I'm sure I'll go again.

I don't take any classes. I just lift 3 days a week and depending on how I feel, I do some form of cardio from 1 to 3 days a week. If I were to take a class it would most likely be spin. Although I live in florida where is is flat, I love to mountain bike.

Zumba - It's so unlike me and I love it. I've lost inches in my waist in just a month.
I tried Yoga, but it wasn't the right class for me - way too slow. The Center where I take Zumba is talking about adding a Yoga fit class and I'll try that.
My gym offers boot camp, but it looks scary!
