I am presently shopping for a treadmill. I have been searching the internet, reading reviews, trying to find the holy grail of treadmills. If you are an owner of a treadmill please post your reviews (+ or -). Thanks

I am also interested in what people comment! We are looking for a treadmill with at least 12% incline, which seems to be difficult to find inexpensively!

Hey Bethany,
I've done some real indepth exploring and found that the best Treadmills out there can be found are Smooth Treadmills http://www.smoothfitness.ca/ (they also have a site for US residence) Their warranty policies are the best, customer care very positive and you don't pay for shipping. Their cost is lower than others because they skip the middle man. I advise checking out the name and reviews online and see what people say. My wife teaches running at the Running Room here in Hamilton Canada. So the treadmill needs to take a lot of punishment and still be sturdy. We looked into the different models and found this one fits into our price range and what we need. http://discontinued.smoothfitness.com/treadmills/smooth-675.htm If you aren't afraid of purchasing online I recommend looking into these treadmils. Hope this helps |

Thanks Tom! I definitely checked it out... we want to stay under $1000 and still try to get the incline at 12% (we do a mountain 3.5mi each spring) - it seems like you have to really shell out for the extra couple of incline percentages!
