Many of you "know" Dave as a traineo regular. A few of us actually know Dave in the real world too. You may have noticed he has not graced the pages of this site in about a week or so. That's because he had an unfortunate automobile accident about a week ago.



Dave suffered some significant injuries, but he is receiving medical care and is working through the situation, trying to remain positive. He does not have internet access from his hospital bed, but we're working on that.



I asked him if it would be OK for me to post a little update on his where abouts and condition, and he said go for it.



If you would like to leave some words of encouragement here for Dave, I will occasionally print out your responses and bring them to him in the hospital until we can get him some wi-fi access. He has a long recovery ahead of him, but he's keeping his sense of humor, and really wants to get back on his feet and back on the road to a happy and healthy life.



Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers in the weeks and months to come.

Oh goodness! Definitely tell him he is in our prayers. How bad are his injuries? When do the doctors anticipate that he'll be well again?

His injuries are significant, but the Docs are still trying to figure things out. He will probably have a lengthy recovery.

My goodness. The traineo gangs will miss Dave. We all hope him recovery soon. Hope he continues stay positive as he always does.

That is terrible news and something that I was not expecting to read when I flicked through the forums today.



Dave is a huge contributor to this community and his absence does leave a void, all be it only a temporary one till he comes back to grace the forums again.



My thoughts and prayers are with Dave, and if I can assist him in any way with his recovery I will certainly make myself available.



Hope to hear from the great man again soon, but until then make sure he knows he is in our thoughts.

Oh man, tell him that was too intense, scale down the workouts a bit.

Oh, wow. I'm with Dean, I did not expect to read that this morning. Dave, I hope you get better soon. I'll be praying for you. Let us know if there is anything really specific (any surgeries for example) that you would like us to pray for. So sorry to hear about this. I really hope you have a very speedy recovery. Squats will always be waiting for him. Just consider this a long de-load phase.

Hey Dave, look on the bright side: with the crappy hospital food, you're bound to lose those last few lbs, HA!! Hopefully you've got some buddies that will sneak in a beer for you when you're feeling up to it. (And some tasty protein - don't waste away!)
