"Sexy By Summer" Challenge: Week 20 Weig

Week 20 Official Weigh-In: (starts today, ends Thurs at 11:59pm CST)



INSTRUCTIONS: Post last week's and this week's weight by 11:59pm Thursday as a reply to this thread. If you don't post an update, you won't be eligible for competition next week.



NOTE: Results will be posted by Friday.

LW = 218.6 lbs

TW = 225.4 lbs



Difference = +6.8 lbs



Weekend road trip... too much food period, too many carbs. At that, yesterday I was at 229.0 pounds!!! So I've shed nearly 4 pounds of water overnight just getting back to normal eating/drinking.



However, since I may well shed further water, I will TOTALLY understand if you don't want me to be officially "in the competition" until next week. I don't think shedding big water should count.



Feel free to leave me out for this week, I just wanted to weigh-in and be accountable. Then I can resume with next week's weigh-in.

Don't worry Cynthia, you may not be the only one with high numbers this week -- I haven't exercised in a week and my eating habits are not good at all... so we shall see.

Hope your weigh-in is better than you suspect.



It feels crappy because I was in the 2-teens... but I'll survive. Haven't done so well with drinking today, so may not shed the water all that fast. And my feet are bad off after being on them so much over the weekend. I'm not sure I'll be able to exercise at all this week! I'm going to ice tonight and hope that helps some.

Loss 3 lbs.



That was after a 1.5 lbs weight gain last week. I'm definately developing some muscles and my abs are starting to get a smidgen of definition to them. I've really appreciated doing Jillian's 30 day shred this month, as I think it's going to take some really focused effort to get off these last 25 to 30 lbs.

Okay--last week's gain was understandable to a certain extent. I took some time off from training and eased up on my healthy eating plan.



I did not expect this week's gain though. If anything I thought I would lose a little extra because I was hoping last weeks gain was mostly water. Guess not. :\



I started back up on my training and eating last week though. Maybe I'll see a change next week...

Cynthia - Hope your feet feel better soon, and don't forget that there is still stuff you can do and stay off your feet! Ab work, punches, tricep and bicep curls...just be creative. It may not burn as many calories as full body cardio, but it would certainly help keep you in the habit of working out until your feet have time to heal!

Last Week: 186lbs

This Week: 188.2lbs



Difference: +2.2lbs



Life is really hectic right now. Lots of work and no time to get to the gym. Also my grandmother just had a major stroke. My eating good habits have gone to the way side. Haven't exercised in a week or so.

Hey everyone!



Richard, sorry to hear about your Grandmother. Hope everything will be okay.



I won't be weighing in for the next three weeks -- I have decided to step away from the scale for a while! I will still be eating well and exercising (in fact my husband and I have taken up jogging, God help us! ) -- I just need time & space to notice progress other than the numbers on the scale! I will be back the first weigh-in of June.



Thanks for your support over the past two months!! Keep up the good work!
