Have you been looking forward to the Wii? I love the fact that this takes video games to being a little more of an active experience. What do you think?
I have been waiting impatiently for the information as to when the Wii will be released. Now I know that Nov 19th is the day and the price will be $249.99, I am ready for it to ship.

I have had absolutely no patience for this to come out. I'm going to GameStop after work to put down my preorder (I've had money set aside for it for months). However, I have to run first, which is a blessing and a curse. I'm going to be tempted to run faster than I should.
Am I the only one excited for Excite Truck?

I'm SO excited about the Wii, I feel like a little kid again (and that was a long time ago!).
We'll find out today when the Wii will hit Euro-land.

Zelda TP preorders for the Wii version start today at GameStop. The store I went to still had no word on when they were going to take preorders for the console itself.

Hehe I'll be there whenever it is. I wish Sony had their head on straight. Every time I look in their direction I feel like they are in a straight jacket in an asylum. The multiple personalities and control issues they have is paining. I think the Wii is going to dominate in breakthrough gaming.
I still wish a console developer would just run open, open up and let people make cool things for your box, the software, extend it, warp it, but be a fertile ground for development. The barrier to entry on these things is so high and the extensibilitiy is just ginormus ( 8) ) in possibilities.
Wiiii on. ;)

Xbox 360 + Dead Rising = Awesome !
I love my Xbox 360, but it's like the anti-workout drug for me. I've been avoiding it until my workout is over then I play for a reward.

Whatever console(s) let me play Metal Gears, Resident Evils, Grand Theft Autos, decent racing sims will get my money. Sure not at launch, though! (Ahh $$$!) My PC handles my other faves, FPSs like Half-Life and Battlefield.
The Wii is pretty exciting, though. It's expanding gaming to another level, and capturing the imagination of some great devs so it will not disappoint. Ah, what to choose, I guess we will (finally) see this xMas.

Got mine from ebay, couldn't find it at any store for months. Even though I paid $80 more than what it sells for at the stores, I and more importantly my wife love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So far only have the Wii sports and Madden. Getting Zelda next.

If they develop a game that's specifically fitness-related, I'm so buying one.

The boxing game is a huge workout... My muscles were very sore 1 day after Xmas (I understand that's Boxing day for you Canadians)
Wii can be used a workout... however my sone figured out to use it with a flick of the wrist and limited motion... like anything you get what you give.

Haven't looked into the fitness section yet.
Shiny, I know that the DDR is coming back to the Wii this year and that in itself will be a huge cardio workout.

Whoo Boxing Day! *waves Canadian flag* heehee
I really hope I get a Wii soon. They look SO awesome. Can any one tell me, would it be hard to use for a non-gamer? (I never got into gaming really, I used to have a little ol' Game Boy Color, though )

Wii is not hard to play at all. Even my parents--into their fifties--have fun with this, and it always sets the difficulty level so they're just a little bit challenged.

That's the beauty of the Wii, it's simple and easy to use. Designed around the casual, non-hardcore gamer. It's a good distraction and if you have little time to play games, then the Wii is for you^^
bah^^ my post got beat by 2 minutes^^
