I saw Chris Brogan's post and since I recently embarked on a weight loss plan (lost 9 lbs so far) I decided this would be a good group.

Hi, I'm Rick Mahn, just another IT guy that normally sits on a chair all day.

I found traineo and this group from Chris Brogan's Twitter post about it (thanks Chris!). I'm working on changing a number of things in life and one main theme is to be fit, loose weight, and be more active.

You can find me on Twitter at: http://twitter.com/rickmahn, and my blog at: http://rickmahn.com.

Thank-you to Kim for creating this group - great idea!

Another Chris Brogan post reader... so here I am.

I had gastric bypass surgery a couple of years ago and lost a bunch of weight. Now I have to really watch what I eat because it's very easy to gain weight back when food starts to be fun again. I've put on about 15 pounds from my "normal" weight and it's scary. So, I'm hoping to find some motivation and support here. Want to lose about 25 pounds by the end of summer. And I want to be able to run my full loop by then too - no walking!

Hey, Twitter peeps! I'm an ad agency guy...a blogger, podcaster and marketing consultant. I hit my peak weight, 215lbs, a year ago. lost 20 lbs on Atkins, then got off Atkins and gained back 15 (arrrrgh). Sticking to low-carb hasn't had much of an impact, so it's back on induction. Thanks, Kim, for setting this up...nice to have some social reinforcement!
