What are the benefits of colon hydrotherapy treatment?

Let me just say that I've seen my own colon on a tv screen, I've never done any kind of enema, and after fasting for a day and drinking a whole lot of kleenprep it's clean and tidy all the way through, as far as I'm concerned this is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard.

I've had it done. Years ago. You know my mantra..try everything! My girlfriend's area of expertise is microbiology and infection control and she reckons that it does bring benefits but limited and short lived. There was a deal yesterday that I contemplated and her advice was "I wouldn't bother"

I was interested in doing this I often feel bunged up or not quite right I'd love to been cleaned through and no i'm starting a fresh as it were I don't see how it can effect Muscle tone though think some of its claims sound like BS but you can't take away from the clensing value of it though AL seems to have similar results drinking 'cleaning fluid'???:eek: or something that sounds like cleaning fluid lol

I have had two colonoscopes done, and an endoscope too.

The bottom line is, and I sound like a broken record, it doesn't fit the simple test of: Can I see our ancestors doing this?

I don't really see how they would have come to the conclusion that they needed to "build muscle tone with colonic irrigation" I don't even see how they would have come up with the concept of enemas. I have no idea how they came up with the silly idea of putting cameras up our poop chutes either, but since my grandfather had colon cancer and I have had some polyps I will put up with this test, I won't though pressure wash my GI tract, when I can just eat good real foods in unprocessed (or at least little processed) form.

If you are eating natural fibre, lots of leafy vegetables, and getting your food from natural sources, you have nothing to worry about. If you get all of your food from balogna, kraft dinner, hot dogs, crisps, carbonated sugar water, etc etc. you might have a bunch of crap not moving and doing you harm, but you can fix it with food.

Keep pushing things in the right direction.

How common is this really? If it was true why did it not show up on my colonoscope? I asked for a DVD so I could review at home they didn't give me one.

Oh maybe it's because I'm not an "average" person in ontario, I'm one of those wierdos who eats real food.
