I'll start us off.

I've stayed the same at 145 lb.
I can conclude from this that making snowmen and shoveling snow uses the same number of calories as the hot chocolate I had afterwards!!!

Well done boys for last week. And if the girls are going to make a big comeback, mine's not much of a contribution - sorry!

Thanks Al for getting us to half way - I'm going to try to lose as much in the second half as in the first.

Al, can you put me down as maintaining my weight for last week and this week? My body needs a recovery period.

(it's not a plateau if you plan it right? )

Yes I can do that.

I appreciate anyone who can let me know what they are up to, however if you don't weigh in at all I highlight your name in orange, and leave your weight the same so it won't affect the competition.

As for plateau planning, I actually think it may be quite natural for the body to adjust for a while to a new weight, I have this happen to me a lot. Also a plateau really needs to be longer than a month to count as one by the definitions I've read.

I've done this a few times during my weight loss journey. Sometimes you just need a flippin' break and enjoy life every once in a while. Note I didn't say eat the equivalent of a Christmas feast every day, but instead enjoy that little treat once in a while while still under calorie control. The net result is that you are awfully close to maintaining your weight.

Example - me over last few weeks!

I was rushing to get out of the house this morning. Argh... forgot to hit the scale. I'll have to log my weight here on Monday.

Na it's just hit the 6-8 week point where there's no change in my training, so until I start at the gym, my weight will stay the same, give or take a kilo. I'd rather work with that rather than get shitty about it and end up binge-eating.

LW 184.2
TW 181.6

Loss of 2.6lbs More importantly I am now 12 stone something (albeit, just)

Been a hard week not exercising much but just focused more on my diet and it has paid off. Back to classes next week hopefully so looking forward to getting into those 170s within the next two weeks. Can't belive that 13mths ago I was 350lbs. 6 more lbs and I will have lost half my body weight!!
