I've slowely slipped of the healthy lifestyle bandwagon over the last couple of months.
Since my last run race at the end of September I haven't been exercising very much. No swimming, hardly any biking and the running became less and less frequent.
Part of it was because of the hectic at work, and also in my personal life. Break-up with my girlfriend of 5 years and moving to a different part of town.
In November I restarted the paleo way of eating, which went totally overboard after I met my new girlfriend. And between the travelling to and from our houses I didn't find the time/motivation to exercise anymore.
I also live only a 15minute bikeride from work, so no longer 45 minute commutes.

So over the last couple of months I, slowely at first, but rather fast the last month, gained weight.
My lowest weight ever was 85kg (187lbs) but this morning I weighed in at 95kg(209lbs) (ugh, that sounds even worse in pounds!)

This weekend my new girlfriend moved in with me (what do you mean that's quick?...)
She also gained weight during our first months together, so after I turned her back from vegetarian to omnivore, we decided to start eating paleo together.

With this Monday as our starting day.
I'll be posting my daily food on this thread.

I also need to figure out an exercise plan, I'm afraid I have to start from scratch....

I keep you'll posted

But first things first, what have I eaten so far today:

Those darn new relationships where you're all happy and eating out and not really paying attention to diet It's understandable, and you are forgiven in Traineo-Land!
and please, I don't know how long you've been with your new girlfriend, but David and I were inseperable from day one - staying at each others apartments etc. After six months we called that quits and moved in together. I wasn't even divorced yet! There is no rule for when it's acceptable to move in, if you are happy, and it works, then go all in. Oh, and for the record, we talked about marriage and kids about month in, I couldn't be happier with our life

I cant wait to get back on a diet plan... 25 weeks and counting! (that's 20 weeks until Baby H gets here, and 5 weeks to adjust)

20 weeks....that sounds really soon! I imagine you can't wait!

You always have great food pictures.

What do the "mashed potatoes" taste like? Would you make them again?

I was surprised at how good it tasted! I will definitely make it again, it was super easy, like the author promised in the recipe :-)

I made it, but used cow instead of pig, and skipped some steps. Still very good though. I will try to load a pic.

What! I even put it on a plate for the picture instead of eating it out of the pan.
What are we making next, Iris? Prepare to be crushed.

This is on the menu for tonight, I think I'll go for:
- onions
- spinach
- chicken
- mushrooms
- bell pepper
- and maybe some carrot

This morning I weighed in at 94.4kg, so I lost 1.2kg of water.

Breafast:
full fat greek yoghurt with fresh pinapple, grapes, dried cranberries and wallnuts

Snack:
pinapple and carrots

lunch:
this great looking salad in a jar.
Salad in a jar

Snack:
a banana

And dinner will be a stirfry, I'll post a picture so we can compare @John

I almost forgot to take a picture, so this is halfway my dinner.
In the end this is what I put into the pan:
Onion
Garlic
Chicken breast
Red and yellow bell pepper
Mushrooms
Spinach
And feta cheese

Taste was great, but we were very hungry so maybe we were a bit biased

Stir fry
