I can't remember where I am in this. Still waking up from the general anesthetic.
I think I weighed in last week at 298.
TW (yesterday anyway) 307
that would be a +9
While Al expected a loss... and actually I was hoping for a loss... it turns out that lots of swelling and narcotic pain meds that slow the bowels actually cause you to gain weight.
I'm going to have to work hard just to get back to my start weight.
I was just joking with you scott, my sense of humour is of course pretty warped but I think you all know that by now.
I'm not surprised you have gained with the pills, and I'm sure they pumped you full of saline at the hospital etc. Just keep drinking water, and moving whatever amount you can, eat what they tell you to, and in a couple of weeks you'll be good as new.
I can give you a special pass on the weigh in this week, and or next, just let me know. You deserve a pat on the back just for thinking about this when you've been through the mill and spit back out with missing parts and a bottle of pills.
