Traineo made it to the front page of digg, and you might want to check out the comments posted underneath for numerous suggestions, additions, etc.. So far I love the site!
Here is the link to the mention on digg.com:

Quick question: In My Workouts, do you treat a run on a treadmill the same as a run outside? I run 3-5 miles a day on a treadmill, but wonder if it's fair to equate that with an outside run?

Dumb question - but where can you update your height. I entered it incorrectly and don't see anywhere to correct it.

If you've got your height wrong, please just drop me a contact request with the correct height and I'll fix it for you.
Thanks,
Max

@Chase
We saw - we've had over 2500 new members in the last few hours, and we've been inundated with suggestions and ideas - we're now going try to implement some of the better ideas, within the next few days.
@Greg
Treadmill running is actually a fair bit lighter than outdoor running - less variation, and you're not actually moving, which also has a considerable impact. Also, treadmills tend to have a fair bit of bounce to them, further reducing the load, but they're a lot better for your knees.

First, good job and great idea on encouraging motivation for diet and exercise.
My problem is with the diet log. For some reason the range on my page for calories is way too high. I rarely eat the minimum listed, much less the maximum. There is no way for me to adjust the scale (I assume this is due to some calculation based upon weight/height/sex). Either a text field or a scale from 0 to the maximum would likely be the best solution. I know it says "2400-" for the smallest, so being on the very right means below that but I would rather have an exact measure and have the Daily Diet Score still not increase after that minimum in order to acurately portray my intake.

Thanks for your feedback - we might actually adjust that scale slightly, as it does tend to be a bit on the high side.
As you guessed, it's based upon current weight, height, and sex.
For now, I recommend going for the far right option, and we'll discuss adjustment of the scale, or maybe allowing for some degree of user adjustment, among ourselves - if you or anyone else has any thoughts on that please do let us know!
Thanks,
Max

How do you enter the actual amount of calories you ate? I can appreciate Traneo encouraging me to eat within the desired range, but it seems well, pointless really, to keep me from reporting what I actually ate on a given day.
Is there no way to scroll the scale left or right so I can reach the actual numbers?

Hi Mark,
The idea really is to encourage you to eat within a range - if you eat below the range, then you can give yourself the highest score. We're currently discussing extending, moving, or broadening the range available.
Thanks,
Max

Max,
I understand the encouragement factor. Heck, put the target calories at the center of the scale, bracket them with green, then a yellow zone, and finally a red range. Give a warning if you like. But I'd definitely prefer to be able to enter a real value.
Today, for example, I was caught in a series of meetings. I managed to snag one semi-stale bagel from the back of the room as my only "meal" between 6AM and 6PM. I'll go home tonight and try to have a much more balanced supper, but I'm certainly not going to pack in the 1500 or so calories it would take to bring my daily consumption up to the minimum number it will let me input. It's not something I was shooting for, it just happened.
I rated my diet today as "poor" (and it certainly was), but the current system forces me to lie about the calories I ate, and that makes it very difficult to track actual results.

Another Digg user... Great looking site, BTW.
My wife and I both wanted to sign up to traineo and become motivators for each other. I signed up with my "sign-up-on-web-sites" e-mail address instead of using the one my friends and family normally e-mail me with. I sent a request to my wife through the site to sign up as my motivator, and she signed up as expected. She then sent a request to me for me to become her motivator as well.
Of course, she didn't send it to the same e-mail address I used to sign up for traineo, so the message I received linked me to a page to sign up as a new user. I figured I already had an account, so I clicked the "sign in here" link at the top instead, but after I logged in, it did not show me as her motivator (or her as one of my motivatees).
I figure I can easily get around this by having her send another request to the right e-mail address, but I think this would be a good thing to fix on the site. I should be able to follow the link from my e-mail and tell it that I already have an account and to link my current account to the request.
:-)

Max,
Is there a way to remove a motivator?

Hi Stephen -
Do you mean you invited someone from outside to be your motivator, and you invited the wrong person, or you invited someone on the site to be your motivator, and it was the wrong person?
If it's someone external, and they've not yet joined, you can cancel the external invite from the motivators pane in the bottom left of the home page.
If they're already your motivator, you can't remove them, but they can remove you. This is intentional, the idea being that if someone is motivating you and you decide you can't be bothered, you can't just quitely stop them being your motivator!
So, your best course of action is probably just to drop them a message and ask them to delete you (click on the motivees pane, again in the bottom left corner, and click the red icon next to their name).
Hope that makes sense
Thanks,
Alasdair

Max -- Indeed. Thanks for updating the workout options (if that was you). The treadmill IS much "easier" than an outside run -- though I always run intervals with the "Hills" option and do my best to run at a constant 6.5MPH or faster...
