User Interface Designer

traineo is looking for an experienced User Interface Engineer to join our small and exciting product development team. This position is based in our Boston (Charlestown) office and reports to the CTO and management team.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and develop customer-centric user interfaces
• Create mockups and/or prototypes
• Pioneer and evangelize the product strategy and user experience from beginning to end
• Bring inspired ideas and motivation in a team environment
• Incorporate product analytics and apply them intelligently

Requirements

• Experience designing for web site usability and a great webfolio
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
• Passion for the customer-centric design
• Knowledge of use cases and wireframes
• The work ethic necessary to thrive in a super fast-paced culture with tight deadlines
• Ability to find simple, elegant solutions for complex usability challenges
• Be comfortable with the big picture and the pixel to pixel details
• Knowledge of Web 2.0, including wiki and social networking
• Ability to quickly assimilate complex ideas

PR / Marketing Intern

With a strong emphasis on social media, this position will work alongside the traineo management team to establish and execute marketing campaigns designed to accelerate traineo's position as the leading social media company in the health and fitness space.

We're interested in individuals who are knowledgeable about social media / web 2.0 and are passionate about growing online communities. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of the health and fitness market, and practical knowledge of how to build awareness and grow our website's member base by executing creative and effective marketing ideas.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to, researching strategic partnership opportunities. Assisting in the execution of direct marketing / outreach and PR initiatives via the web, and traditional channels.
