Getting Started with traineo
Creating your account
Setting up your traineo account only takes a few minutes and we've made it as simple as possible. We've outlined instructions as a point of reference should you need it.
Name and Email
We'll need your full name and a valid email address. This is important to we can personalise your traineo experience
Username & Password
Your username can be anything you want. Simply fill in this field and we'll let you know immediately if it's available. Your username will also form your unique traineo web address so you'll be able to send this to all your friends
Make your password something that you'll remember but if you do forget it, we can email it to you right away (click forgot password on the 'Log in' Page
Current Weight
We believe in making things simple and user-friendly at traineo. For your weight, you can enter it in any weight format you like, e.g. 175 pounds, 12 stone and 9 pounds, 74 kilos. If you don't know your exact weight right now, you can always update this in your traineo account area once you've registered
Height
Simply enter in your height in feet, metres, inches or even millimetres, e.g. 5 foot 10 inches, 5' 10", 176 cm
Gender
Come on, that's obvious!
Goal Weight
This is where you enter your target body weight
Achieve this by when?
When do you want to reach your desired weight? Two weeks? One month? Just enter it here. You can enter a numeric value, e.g. 12 days, or even in words like 'by September 31st'.
Upload a photo
Feel free to upload a photo of yourself here (remember, you can always add one later on). Click the browse button then select an image from your computer (it can be in gif, JPEG or PNG format up to 1 megabyte in size)
What are motivators?
We came up with the idea of using motivators from knowing that weight-loss can be very difficult. Motivation is such a key part that's why we've devised a unique way of allowing others to spur you on.
You can choose up to 4 people who you would like to keep updated on your weight-loss progress. Simply enter their names and emails in the fields. If you only want one motivator, that's fine. You can always add more later on
You can also choose what information to tell them. If you just want to tell them your weekly weight variation, choose this radio button. Or you can tell them your precise body weight as well if you think that will help you.
