I suck with diets. I really really do. So I was wondering if someone could point in in a good direction as to what I should eat for lunch...

I work an office, sit down all day long, type of job. My movement and activity is practically nothing. I get 30 minutes for lunch, which basically means I get 20 mintues to go get food and 10 minutes to actually eat the food. Around my workplace, there is an Arbys, McDonalds, Subway, Goodcents, Walmart Store, Grocery Store, Chinese Place, and other various odds and ends...I guess what I am asking is out of all of those places, where can I go to get food and eat it really fast, and what foods should I be getting?

With those options, I'd suggest packing (if you can). You'll save money and eat better. Search other threads for more detailed suggestions, but generally you want to stick to lean meats (chicken and turkey), whole grains, and lots of fruits and vegetables.

If you absolutely have to visit one of those options, Subway will probably let you customize what you order more than the others. Some grocery stores also have acceptable ready-to-eat options in the deli section, and you may also have luck at the Chinese place.

Definitely pack your lunch if you can. I do this almost every day.

Mc Donalds has good grilled chicken salads at under 300 calories. They are filling and have lots of protein. Skip the dressing. Also their grilled chicken snack wraps have less than 300 calories.
You can look up the nutrition information of almost all fast food restaurants online, and plan what to order in advance.
Stay away from any Restaurants that tend to huge portion sizes or you can't directly count calories of the ingredients. The sauces and dressings are the worst diet busters I find when eating out.
Well thats my two cents, hope it helps

If you can't pack, each one of those places has something good you can choose from. Don't know about Arby's but McD has grilled chicken salads like Emily suggested (I love Asian one), Subway offers many healthy sandwiches (turkey, grilled chicken, etc., no mayo, get lots of veg), grocery stores have good salad bars, if you must have chinese get something steamed like chicken and broccoli with white or brown rice (save half of your lunch for next day).
