Juice fasting... anywhere from 3 to 40 days.. cleansing/detoxing.. any of you have opinions on it?

There's no scientific basis to any "detoxing" claims made by proponents of fasting or juice fasting.

Google the terms "detox" and "myth" and you'll find a lot of articles by doctors and scientists that explain that the human body with a healthy diet, and plenty of water and sleep is better than a fast at filtering toxins.

i asked my dr about doing this and he said there is no need to do it b/c your body cleanses itself naturally.
