I like lots of fruits and vegetables myself. My wife and I have gotten into making fruit smoothies lately. Mix in some of your favorite fruits (grapes, bananas, berries, etc), plain vanilla yogurt, and orange juice. Yummmm!

Lean meat, lots of veggies (eat green with lots of colors mixed in), and only whole grains (no proccessed grain/flour/sugar, etc.), that is about as low fat as your going to get (also kinda low carb, but only because the sugary stuff is high in fat too...organic oatmeal will give you lots of energy in the mornings, whole wheat bread for lunch, you get the idea.)

Cut back on carbs after lunch though (fruits included, lots of sugar in fruits, though it is natural, it's still going to spike your blood sugar), your body stops processing them properly after bieing awake for several hours, that's what the trainer at the gym I attend said, he has a degree so I guess he knows, worked for me.

as for excercise, your optimum heart rate for fat burning is between 115 and 135 (according to your age, it may be a little lower even).

So do whatever type of excercise you find enjoyable and do it so your heart rate stays there for at least 20 -30 mins a day (everyday).

We all know you can do it, so go do it.

I've heard of many studies that show that fat intake in comparison to caloric intake doesn't really matter. That is if you try to still keep Saturated fat in check. Many people see something low-fat and eat more of it than they would if it was normal. Does that make sense? I don't know, I watch my calories, I'm not CRAZY on counting, I just know approx. how many to have for every meal and snack. I never really pay attention to fat grams, only because it made my peanut butter (natural) and olive oil look evil. When I know they aren't.
Not knocking your diet... sorry if it sounded like that.

You are correct Ashley. It's true that there is such a thing as "good" fat, found in foods like peanut butter and olive oil. You still don't want to go overboard, but in moderation (like everything) these types of fat are actually healthy for you.
