Yay, as a posting noob, I'm just adding to a mass of complaints and probably just annoying the more established posters.

I'm going to be starting the 30-day (9-day planned) Isagenix program. Apparently my parents (stepmother complains to no end about my weight) has decided that the only way to intervene is buy a diet for me. At least I know I'm not crazy, and there are other people complaining about the marketing ploy. And before anybody complains why I'm actually doing this. . .I'm not having to pay for it. It's just protein shakes and "cleansing" water. I'm just loving the fact they are making me take "extra protien" because I'm apparently suffering from hypothyroidism.

Honestly, I'm going to just have to start cardio slowly again (back troubles since I was 12) and work my way up to an hour or so of walking. Hopefully, I can try to talk my parents out "buying my health" but meh. . .we'll see how this health-kool aid works out.

Perhaps you could have them get you a gym membership?

Ha ha! Who knows? By then end of the year my stepmom may nag my father into it. But I work at a college where they will be opening a wellness center hopefully by then end of fall. I'll be about 500 yards away from it, so there won't be any reason to not use it

Started the first day of these shakes. . .I'm guessing most protein shakes taste like a milkshake w/o any sugar.

That is truly an amazing story.

I've been using the products for well over a year now and I love Isagenix. Before Isagenix, I drank 4 or 5 cups of coffee every morning. I had a coke for lunch. I drank sweet tea for supper. I drank coffee after supper. I seldom drank water. I didn't exercise because I didn't have the energy. I knew that I was overweight, but I made excuses.

When I decided to start with a 9-day program, I made a commitment to only drink water. On day four, I felt terrific. It was at that time that my wife and I decided that we never wanted to be without Isagenix products in our system.

In my first 11 days, I lost 10 pounds and after several weeks to follow, I reached my goal of losing 25 pounds. I lost 5 inches in my waist.

Three months later, I had my next cup of coffee. That was just to be social and not because I was craving it. I think that I've had one coke since then. It's just too sweet.

I also started exercising. Unfortunately, I waited until this past January to join a gym and start weight training. I signed up for the IsaBody Challenge and I've been working out four days a week since then. My muscle tone has improved greatly.

Since losing the weight, I have coached many people through their first system and overall I've seen some much better results than my own. There are only two types of failures that I've seen with the program. Those people who make the purchase and never open the box, and those that make the shakes incorrectly and decide that they can't drink them. Everybody that I know who has used the products has seen results.

Since Isagenix has a money back guarantee, there's no reason for anyone to be unhappy.

I don't know much about isagenix, but after looking at their website I think you can do a lot better for your money.

Here's a good link about cleansing for metabolism boostage:
http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/wholebody/begood/c leansing.pdf
And Products:
http://www.puranoldirect.com/puranol-information.c fm (read the 5-day detox label, though the carb one looks interesting too)

You can buy similar all-herb 'thermogenics' at the store.
Here's a triple-tea one:
http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=276 6721&cp=2167100.2173984&pg=4&parentPage=family

I use EAS Myoplex light drinks for breakfast and lunch. They are super filling. I have a snack in between breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner and it keeps me full.

Here's the bottom line. You can say what you want about Isagenix and thank GOD for that. The question is valid and if YOU haven't tried it than

Nerd Rage? If that actually exists, I should be burning thousands of calories a day.

Well...first of all Isagenix is NOT a DIET product...is more a Cleansing product, on which you LEARNto maintain your body detoxified...BUT as with any other products, to see GREAT results YOU MUST AT LEAST EXERCISE 30-45 MINUTES DAILY!!!

ISAGENIX IS A GREAT JUMP START for those that need to loose over 15 pounds.

I was reluctant to use it for over a year, until I finally saw the results in someone pretty close to me... When I saw that he shredded over 12pnds in just 9 days and still was energized, I decided to try it.

Guess what?? I just couldn't believe what I saw when I weighted and measured myself after the second day (Cleanse days) I've already lost 8lbs and, unbelievably to my eyes... 10 inches of each thigh... That CERTAINLY kept me on the program... when I finished on my 9th day I had lost over 45 inches throughout my body... most of them in my hips, buns and thighs (my eternal problem area)... from 178 I went to 162..and from a very thigh size 14, I went to a comfy fitted size 12. ALL THAT in just 9 days... and it was because of the cleansing.

OF COURSE...THAT did NOT stopped there... because my goal was to get to 155 lbs.

I was sooooo psyqued about my weight and INCHES loss, that I continued eating healthy, continued exercising, and changed my nutrition style forever....

I now weight 152 lbs., I'm wear comfy size 10 pants (because of my latina-hips hahaha) and I have kept my weight off for over a year and a half!!!!

OFF COURSE... ISAGENIX didn't did this... good nutrition and exercise did, BUT ISAGENIX DID MOTIVATED AND JUMP STARTED MY WEIGHLOSS PLAN...

Now every once in a while I do the two days of cleansing, just to keep my body detoxified... and it works wonder.

THANKS ISAGENIX... for more info: http://pimpurbody.isagenix.com

LOL, agreed. I last visited Traineo something like 8 months ago and remember being dumbstruck by all of the pyramid schemers joining the forums to chime in. Apparently the Isagenix folks are pretty persistent, because it's still happening. And nobody believes the reason is BECAUSE IT WORKS!!!

I'm surprised no one has addressed the essential issues in diet and nutrition in this country. The reason Isagenix nutritional products work is that they address head on the deficiencies in our diets today. Their program is more about getting the body healthy enough to digest and process food and nutrients than about the superficial "losing of weight". If the body is healthy with full absorption of nutrients (vitamins and minerals) then the organs can function optimally and fat is not stored beyond what is needed for health. Why is this conversation completely absent from the posts? American soils are depleted of the microorganisms that convert inorganic materials into organic compounds so we do not receive what we need from our "regular" or "normal" foods alone. Any nutritional program must also be accompanied by exercise And another thing not mentioned here, enough REM and delta level sleep. I've used this and Melaleuca for a long time and I have not only a good BMI but also very healthy skin and I don't miss any work due to illness. My Isagenix costs me $190 a month, about half my grocery cost. Our good health is worth that.

I uses Isagenix daily. I share it with my friends and my family. I stated that in my very first post here. It's in my about. I did that because I didn't want people to be upset because if I mentioned it sometime. It's what finally worked for me. I have to talk about it. Here's my site http;//www.cleansemyself.com if you are interested.
I'm not here to sell anybody. Get your own answers. That's not what brought me her. I came because keeping the weight off is hard work and I want all the support I can get. I also feel I have a lot to offer as I have a weight loss success story, I'm a personal trainer, land and water aerobics instructor, a tri athlete with a specialty in swimming as I coached for 12 years.
For all those who want to attack because Isagenix worked for me. Back off! Isagenix has worked for thousands. The people that are trying to share it have a gift. They can help you get healthy too - when you are ready. I am!
