Yu Wai - Good luck with the Isagenix! IT WILL WORK! I came across this site because I am involved in Isagenix - I've used it, had success and have seen many others have great success. I am still using the program to continue my weightloss. I found it interesting to read everyone's comments and lastly, yours. The 30 day program is a little slower weightloss than the 9day - but you can do a 9 day with your products from the 30 day if you want to really jumpstart - and till have more left over to continue through the month. The cleanse days are a challenge - but be determined and you can do it and you will be happy you did! The shake days - you will not be hungry! Remember - you have 3 snacks allowed per day on any of the days, including the cleanse days - so use them to help you get through each day!

I've heard of the 9-day plan but they don't provide it in Hong Kong and I don't know where I can get the menu. Could you please tell me the menu? That would help soooooo much. Thanks for your support!

I started with an Isagenix cleansing program in March 2007 and I lost 25 pounds and 5 inches in my waist in less than two months. Now I am trying to exercise a little more and tone up. You can find out more about Isagenix at http://rickhampton.isagenix.com or at http://gocleanse.com/rickhampton

Yu Wai - The 30 Day and the 9 Day are made up into Shake Days and Cleanse Days. As you will see from your program, with the 30 Day Program, you have one Cleanse Day per week and the rest are Shake Days. The 9 Day works like this: You start with two pre-cleanse days (Shake Days), then 2 Cleanse Days, followed by 5 Shake Days and then 2 final Cleanse Days. It's a little tougher doing 2 consecutive cleanse days, but it will help to drop the weight fast. The snacks will help and you should do 6 per day. They help to regulate your blood sugar and also to break down the fat. Don't skip the snacks. If you would like a daily schedule listing what you do each hour, just email me at rick@rickhampton.com and I will send you one.

I began my health and wellness goals after being told by my doctor I was pre-diabetic and borderline high blood pressure. After a scuba diving trip that did not go well (due to my poor health), I decided to try and she the extra pounds. It was important to me to find a helathy, well-balanced program that would not only give me a jump start, but also allow me to learn how to make a lifestyle change to better health and wellness.
About 30 days ago, I found out about Isagenix through a co-worker. In the past 30 days, I have released 20 pounds and lost 4 inches in my waist, going from a size 12 to a size 6!! My goal is for another 10 pounds, which I would like to shed by December 31st.
Along with 4 other coworkers, we have had great success in losing our weight. Getting through the holidays and working toward our goals is ahead. Once we do that, we then plan on implementing what we have learned to maintain our new found health and wellness. Isagenix has been a life changer for myself, my coworkers and my partner.

Quoting: yuwai After looking at the menu, i'm a bit worried that i'll be hungry all the time but I really need something to help me start.
Yu Wai - be sure to eat as the plan indicates and DO NOT MISS any snacks. These are full of nutrients and really do help curb your appetite. I also was worried when I received my first 30 day kit that I too would be hungry and "geared up" for the inevitable first few days of "feeling bad". It DID NOT HAPPEN. If you drink all of your water, eat the nutritional products as directed, you will find you are actually SURPRISINGLY not hungry!!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message me, as I wouldn't mind "paying forward" as my cleansing coach did for me!
And I am 23 pounds lighter and feel fantastic every day now. It truly did change my life.

Steve,
I respect your opinion, not every program is right for everyone. I have lost 23 pounds following the Isagenix program and went from a size 12 to a size 6. I have changed my lifestyle and feel Isagenix is a high quality, phenomenal nutritional program. However, the product is NOT the miracle, our bodies are! When using a program that cleanses at a cellular level, it allows our bodies to perform how they were meant to.
I also want to point out a 9 day cleanse is NOT $200 as you indicate, it is only $125, which equates to around $4.50 per meal. If someone purchases a 30 day program, it is only $3.60 per meal. After researching many products, this seemed the best for me and for the price per meal, allowing me to consume high qulaity nutrition was more important than other things that cost considerably more money (think cable, movies, etc.). Unlike other programs, the products are SUPER FOODS not supplements.
I would recommend Isagenix to anyone. I personally have seen other friends and my family also have excellent results with these products but can only speak for myself!!

NO I am not an associate. However, "My friend" is an associate and yes she did try your product as well as a couple of others, including Isagenix. Your recipe gives instructions for doing a 30 day program, correct? So the dollar amount she spent was for enough product to do what you recommend for 30 days. Since convenience stores don't sell fresh ginger, I am pretty sure she shopped at a grocery store.
As for the list of products, those are found on the Isagenix.com website, the direct link is http://www.isagenix.com/us/en/cleanse_30day.dhtml
I am not trying to sell or pitch anything, I just thought consumers should be aware that buying each of the items individually is a larger cost than purchasing a pre-made product. There is no slander involved, I simply stated the cost that my friend paid for the two products that are mentioned in this forum.

I actually just jumped on the boat & decided to try the 30 day program. I am excited & can't wait for it to get here. I signed up as a preferred customer to get the wholesale prices but don't really plan on selling it. If a friend wants to get it for a good price, then I will do something like that, but I'm not going to go out & try to push it on anyone.
I got reffered to this diet by a friend who was at 210 lbs about a year ago. She did the 30 day cleanse to kick start & since then is down to 145. Of course she changed her lifestyle which includes running marathons now.
I just found this site this morning & signed up to hopefully get my diet/excercise program kick started & help keep me motivated.

Your right the 9 day cleanse is 125.00 + shipping, ONLY if your a associate, or member..and to become one is another 36.00/year and you must be on monthly-autoship, if no autoship its $46. So in fact after 125 +shipping and $36 or $46 for your membership its nearly 200.00 Plus taxes if they apply.
If your NOT a member than its 164.95 + shipping and applicable taxes which brings it close to 200.00. So steve was right
Not to be a know it all, just pointing out the facts.
***May be off on membership pricing by a dollar or two. I cancelled my membership a long time ago
And too Me Doe , your wrong, the geniediet was a 10 day diet, and not even close to the price of isagenix, not even close. Its like 25 bucks or so for the program, and maybe 20 bucks for the food. And that 20 bucks for food lasts for two cleanses. At least with me it did.
I haven't done a cleanse with them for a bit, but am using the post diet program that you get to keep the weight from coming back.

Its just very pricy, and once you get it, you will see very quickly that its easliy duplicated....with the same results, and thats what i found with the genie diet.

I'm a sales man for a living i deal with electronics and i have read all of the replys to the question "Isagenix?" And to be real with you alot of people are here pushing the product to make money !!! Dropping the hints ever so gently "email me if you need info" Come on pls can you make it any more obvious.
on that note... i did buy the program and yes it is expensive especially if you cook for your self. But its well worth it or at least i hope it is. I jumped on board because i witnessed it with my own eyes 3 people that i know have lost tremendous amounts of weight and its true it works for every one differently my friend did it she lost like 15 lbs on the 30 day program my girl does it she was only able to squeeze out 7 lbs. Now its my turn and im not here to sell you i make enough at work. I'm here to share my story and hope i can loose my needed 50 lbs.
IM TIRED of IT having to un-button my pants so i can squeezing to my 36s because I'm terrified of buying 38s i'm already a xxl !! I use to be fit and only 190 lbs then back in 2000 i dislocated my knee and ever since then my weight has been on a yo0yo. I have tried it on my own i do good for a few weeks then i fail. I am going to try with this and i will be honest and keep this posted i wish i could pictures of my progress up. I even thought of using my myspace for it but i think that would be too public...

I'm looking to lose about a hundred lbs in the course of a year, and basically to just consistently get better. And I love comments and messages, so keep 'em coming!
I talk about goal setting a lot, how about I actually set some?
Well it's time to revisit goals... I didn't do too well with my end of year plans, but learned some things and changed my plans up a bit as I went along. During the 5-7 weeks of the year, I was able to put on about 8-10lbs of muscle, and stay at the same actual weight. The plan is to start the Strong Lifts 5X5 program to supplement the Couch to 5K program, and that should last the next 8-12 weeks.
I'm updating goals as well. Lowering cholesterol remains a goal, and I'll find out about that at the end of August.
Been bouncing around a bit, but getting a little stricter again and will monitor that over the next 3-4 weeks. I feel poised to really lose some weight again, so I'm looking forward to the healthy eating and additional exercise.

I don't know what everyone is freaking out about. The greatest reason to want to sell something is because it really works. I bought the 9-day and have just started... however, I am all for just pushing yourself in the gym, and at one time i was in incredible shape. Now I have a torn ligament and tendon in my ankle and I can't do the cardio anymore to get rid of the fat. I just want a jumpstart, and if I can just lose ten pounds, then I can just strength train like crazy and pretty soon, there will be way more muscle than fat.
The main problem I see is when people just want the quick overnight fix. Sure if you are loaded, maybe you can take this stuff forever to keep the weight off, but if not, you better plan on going to the gym and making some worthwhile changes to your current habits. It is the first step that is so hard.

Before I started with Isagenix, I didn't have the energy to think about working out. I didn't have the willpower to quit drinking soft drinks or eating right. When I got on the program, I quit drinking anything except for water for a few months. After that, I added back an occasional cup of coffee.
Now, after losing 25 pounds, I have joined the YMCA and am working with a personal trainer to build some muscle. That's because I am interested in my health and I am thankful that Isagenix helped to get me there. If I never made another penny from introducing others to the program, I would still be on the products anyway... and I am sick of hearing people talk about how expensive it is. It's cheaper than eating fast food and a whole lot cheaper in the long run.
If you really want to know how our program works, watch a short video at http://www.cleansedforlife.com. That is not my site to sell product, but an informational page. Then, if you have any serious questions, email me at rick@rickhampton. com.

I think a radical diet program may be effective in providing initial weight loss, but will it keep the weight off? Is the diet reasonable to continue for life? I doubt it is.
Be more active + eat less calories = weight loss and weight maintenance.
I can't imagine Isagenix working as a long term solution. Whoever uses the product will certainly need to adjust their lifestyle or they will gain it all back or more once they are done with the program.

We DO promote a change in lifestyle... getting exercise, drinking lots of water and eating healthier. I enjoy a healthy Isagenix shake for breakfast and then I try to eat two other healthy meals. I can easily see me doing this for life. Why not? It's cheaper and healthier than eating at McDonald's.
Also, it's not a "diet" in the traditional sense of a diet. You don't starve the body but you feed it with high quality nutrition... and every once in a while, you cleanse out the impurities. I don't see anything radical here.

One Year 19 Lbs lost.
For December 07 to December 08 the job is to lose another 17 lbs.
-- Coming up for nearly a year of Traineo. 22 lbs lost, 13 to go!
What a year! I want to thank Traineo and it's members, and my doctors and friends, and gym, and my walking and running training partner -- my dog -- who all have have been a big part of my recovery from a bad case of pneumonia last August, from high blood pressure in May and June, and support through herniated cervical discs in July August and the present.
Somehow, its been possible to keep the faith and keep going through the neck and arm pain, but even on some of those bad pain days, getting the exercise at the gym, on a C25K run, on a bike ride, or in the surf helps make it bearable.
A year ago -- at least sports-wise, for life is altogether another thing -- I was losing my sense of identity as a surfer and windsurfer, gaining a sense of identity as a cyclist, a runner, 9 months later reentering the surf, losing my ability to ride ... things came and went between hospital visits.
At times, all those things were stripped away -- and just to be able to walk down the block was an accomplishment. There were recoveries and sometimes just advil and bullish efforts.
It's good to be back in the surf and on the bike sometimes, neck/shoulder/arm pain notwithstanding.
My thoughts go out to all those Traineo members out there fighting their own health and spiritual battles...you know we are here in this small way.

Folks, anytime you see a post regarding a product that is known to be supported by Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) and peer-pressure grass-roots marketing, check the post count.
Then, do your due diligence, and also think about why so many new folk, with just a few posts to their name, appear from nowhere to flock in support of the product. There are some folk out there who are truly convinced, and others who are just googling the word to find a forum such as this to join and hype the product.
Any real change you are going to maintain long term is probably going to be related with the thousand little lifestyle exercise and diet changes you can make, than a weight-loss product.

This thread was started with someone asking about Isagenix. I came across the site and posted from my EXPERIENCE on the products. Is there something wrong with that? Or, should people with no experience or knowledge of the products be the only ones allowed to post?
I would think that you would appreciate someone posting to a thread where it is applicable. The reason that I don't post all over the forum is that I don't know that much about all of the fad diets except that that most of them have a 95% failure rate, but I don't go and bad mouth them or try to tell them to check out Isagenix.
I did my due diligence on Isagenix, and I noticed the number of medical professionals, professional athletes, and personal trainers that agree with what Isagenix is bringing to the market. I looked at their credentials, such as Dr. William Wheeler who advised Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan on nutrition.
It's ok that some people don't want to be involved with network marketing, but I would rather listen to people like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett, and Robert Kiyosaki who endorse it.

You and all the other folk (who 'suddenly' glommed on to this site -- check the post counts people) searching for forums like this all over the country for opportunities to invade a site and sell the product.
No doubt you believe in your experience with the product. But how so many first-time posters gravitated to a thread on the product calls the whole thing into question.
If you know anything about the members here, they mostly know each other; are welcoming to newcomers who introduce themselves (not by way of a speciously set-up product thread); they did not come in their first few posts pushing a diet product, and they are more than likely not going to be duped by anyone who does.

eat less, move more.
I had a martial arts instructor that always told me to charge more than i needed to when arranging seminars etc. Because people believe they are getting what they pay for.
So my advice above is free, and no one will pay it any attention, if i box it up and sell it for 50 bucks then a few folk will buy it out of curiousity, if I sell it for $200 then people will buy it and follow it, because at $200 it must be quite good.
So do people lose weight because it's really that good, or because they treat the price seriously enough to discipline themselves to follow the regime?
eat less.
move more.

Rick, seriously... cheaper than fast food?
2 apple pies for $1
$1 DOUBLE cheeseburger
But that aside, why would you compare the two? Is that the alternative? Use Isagenix, or eat fast food and DIE. Do the marketing materials for this organization presume everyone is an idiot, or just us? Do you think there is anyone here saying "Hey, I can replace my diet that consists mainly of fast food with the Isagenix diet!" - I really don't think so.
I like to consider this site a place for like-minded people to support each other and a healthy lifestyle. And this 'like-mind' tends to lean towards a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Sure, these silly crash diets may be for some people (those that cannot make long-term commitments to their own accountability), but not for the majority of us here.
I, for one, think very little of any program that has you doing anything other than eating a reasonably balanced diet every single day (with the exception of perhaps limiting some carbs due to insulin sensitivity). When we add in the MLM aspect of Isagenix, I'm actually offended to see it supported in this forum and I think a lot of others may be too. We know what you're about, I'm glad it worked for you, but don't expect a lot of converts.

I have been using Isagenix for 3 months now, and I love it. When a friend told me about it and I watched the video, it REALLY made sense. To me, Isagenix was the missing link that I had been looking for. It wasnt about what I was eating, it was about what my body was missing. I dropped 9 pounds in 23 days, all I could say was WOW!!! I had never dropped weight like that before ever. My skin is softer from this product, it helped get rid of some cellulite, I used to feel so tired at the end of the day, now I can out last my kids. I am going to be 38 this year, but I really feel like I am 25 again. All I can say, is someone finally got it right!!!!! Thank you. I am also an associate now. To be a member is no different then being a member at Sams Club or Cosco. I also do FREE health coaching weather you use Isagenix or not, your able to contact me from my site www.kimberlyerman.isagenix.com, The way I look at it, you having nothing to lose. If you dont lose weight and feel great you can return it, its 100% money back

Here's the deal. There's absolutely no way you should have to spend money to get fit. If you're not losing weight with a healthy diet and normal exercise then you're ignorant of what a healthy diet and good exercise is. That's nothing to be ashamed about, but you do need to educate yourself.
If spending money on a program motivates, then by all means, go ahead and spend it, I won't judge and I understand, it's just not a necessity.

Nice abs Splint. I'm working on mine too, now that I have joined the Y. I guess that I could do it without spending any money, but it would be tough. I'm exercising muscles that I had never heard of before. I could buy the equipment and do my running on the street, but I'd probably skip the cold rainy days. I'm not ashamed to admit that I have never worked out in a gym before and I'm getting some education from a trainer.
Food does cost money. I enjoy a nutritional shake for breakfast with some whey protein added in along with a half of a banana. I guess that with the banana, I'm spending a little over $3. I really don't think that it's being extravagant.
Some people don't think that they need supplements, but I'm not one of them. There are a lot of studies out there that say omegas are really good for your heart as well as other things. There are also a lot of studies that say we don't get the vitamins and minerals that we need in the food supply any more. I won't judge anybody for not agreeing with those studies, but I think that I will continue taking my supplements. So, I'm spending a couple of dollars a day on products that I believe will keep me healthy long term. I can afford it.
