I started walking about 3 weeks ago and lifting weights a bit since Nov.

I've never been one to eat fast food or drink soda's my main prob is probably the fact i have an office job and don't exercise and I probably eat too much meat.

However I have been trying for awhile to change this and as I registered on Traineo I read some stuff and tried to change my meals some more, heres what they were.

DayX:
breakfast: 2 blt sandwiches (yeh probably not good but it was homemade cuz i dont eat fastfood, it costs too much $$$)
lunch: beans, cornbread and pineapple
dinner: blt
4th meal: tuna fish sandwich (i tried not to but i was so damn hungry)

DayY:
breakfast: 1 1/2 tuna fish sandwiches (its hard for me to eat breakfast i have been skipping breakfast 90% of my whole life)
lunch: beans, cornbread and pineapple
dinner: tuna fish sandwich, corn, greenbeans, saurkraut, 1 hotdog (i know i shouldnt of done that)

I always drink water, cuz im not a soda person, i gave up sodas 16 yrs ago

Like i mentioned I am not used to eating breakfast, in the past my biggest meal has always been dinner, and its hard to break it

Well...it really depends...

Whole grain bread can be ok, tunafish sandwitch made with low fat mayo og cottage cheese can be ok, even a hot dag can, if you skip the bread and take no fatty sauces.

Just give some more detailed informations and i am sure you will get better responses

I understand not being a breakfast person, but I know for me it really helps if I eat something in the morning.

Try eating a small piece of fruit when you first get up. I found that it really kicked up my appetite and as a result I eat a bigger lunch and a smaller dinner. Since night time was when I ate junky food, the overall effect was really positive.

I have found oatmeal to be my morning salvation. For years I would eat bagels for breakfast. Even using cream cheese sparingly, 2 bagels is about 800 calories.

I make a regular serving of oatmeal (1/2 cup dry, 1 cup water), and dump 2 tbsp either raisins or dried blueberries in it before I microwave it, then add 1 tbsp chopped walnuts, 1 tbsp brown sugar and a little milk. It's about 350 calories altogether, but the whole-grain carbs + the protein and fat in the walnuts keeps me full for a long time.

I even got a big box of instant oatmeal packets to keep at work, to get me through those late morning or mid-afternoon munchies.

What type of beans? Baked/brown beans can have a LOT of sugar in them, and sometimes quite a bit of fat too, due to pork-based seasoning (so good, though). Same thing w/ cornbread - recipes vary wildly.

Good luck!
