http://www.drbdiet.com

I did it, it works. It's not cheap, but it works ;) They have a really good hand-holding maintenance program for when you've lost the weight too. Where I went wrong was in not following their maintenance program ;)

I just started trying to do the Dr. B diet on my own, not vitamin B injections, just taking vitamin B orally... we'll see how it goes ;)

My friend went to school for Health & Fitness, and she told me that her teachers said that Dr. B wasn't actually a Dr -- the company just bought that name... ?

Good that it works, though.

Okay, I might be completely silly, but what exactly is the Dr. Bernstein Diet. I could not, for the life of me, find out what this is! I have read through their site and still cannot discover what exactly one would do to achieve the less-than-modest goals they provide. Do I have to go into a clinic for this? Maybe you could enlighten me.

Tcha! C'mon Aaron, Google is your friend

Here's a fairly good (though critical) overview;
http://www.nutrimundo.com/diets/dr_bernstein_diet. html

Just to be clear - I'm not saying that's a correct assessment of the diet, just that it gives an overview of what it's about.

FWIW, it doesn't sound like a particularly sustainable approach to me.

Well it's certainly not sustainable, but it's not supposed to be It's designed to lose weight and lose it fast with loads of supervision. Once you're down to their goal weight they do a really good job of holding your hand into a nice sustainable diet that includes carbs etc... my problem is that I jumped off the wagon as soon as I got to my goal weight *grin*
