Okay, here's the deal. I play judo at school, and there's a competition this Sunday and I NEED TO LOSE 2kilos to fit in that weight category.
I don't care if its water or air or anything, I NEED to lose the weight!
TIA if anyone replies.

Well, if you need to lose 2 Kilos fast to get in a category, you're between a rock and a hard place.
You *could* fast, and dehydrate yourself prior to the competition, but clearly that isn't ideal given that you're going to be doing sport - when is the weigh-in?

how serious is this competition that you need to lose the weight? is it a championship or something? if not, is this something that will become a pattern? typically people do this by fasting, dehydration... typically not very healthy for what you want to achieve. if you acn stay in current weight class or take a powder (sit out), your body will thank you in the long run.

My name is Val and I am losing weight because I'm sick of hearing people say that I'm fat. I know that I need to loose weight so I'm taking the initive to do so. I also hate the way I look in pictures, so I;m toning up to look good. I feel so much heathier when I eat good, so that's making me stick to it.

I would eat a protien shake for breakfast for the next two days, and eat veggies and chicken.....stop eating after 7pm. Drink water only......you should see the weight drop. Do not deprive your body from food....don't eat any carbs...this should help

Well, it's demanding 'cause to get an edge over everybody else you have to stay in the heaviest possible weight in that category, so the weight part is pretty crazy.
The weighing in is on Sunday at 930 in the morning, i'm still about 2.5 pounds short!

Okay, on to diet number 5! This month: Neanderthin.
Previous loses are as follows: January, G I Lean ( 4.3kgs ); February, The Hacker's Diet ( 4.5kgs ); March, Johnson UpDayDownDay Diet ( 2.1kgs ); April, YOU: On A Diet ( 700g).
It seems all these diet switches are working. It appeals to my desire for novelty and means I can try diets I never would consider for the long-term. That, and I get to play around collecting data in spreadsheets - always a good thing if you need some work avoidance. Honestly, this is quite fun.

Wow, not a great spot to be in, but if you are prepared to go the VERY unhealthy route this is what I'd do if it was me:
1) fast as much as possible - it's not as bad for you as people think so long as it is controlled, done extremely rarely and you are in excellent health otherwise.
2) what you do eat: no salt, carbs, or any foods you know cause you to bloat
3) start reducing water intake slowly you don't want to retain water but you also don't want to seriously dehydrate.
4) eat prunes or something to clean out the system before.
6) I'd avoid non-essential exercise, I retain water when I work out ( this might be just me )
5) Cut my hair / clip my nails ... whatever to shave off a few grams.
Good luck with it
