Quoting: nicholman
discovered the cheap stuff at walmart

Did you get it in Walmart? I do not recognize this brand in GNC.

Where did you get it, Jen?

Today:
B:Oatmeal in cocoa + mixed nuts 1/2cp
S: Dannon yogart 1, baby carrot 100g
L: Rubio healthmex chicken taco 2, some tortilla chips
S+PreWO: banana 1, some peanuts
PostWO+D: pineapple 50g, Tofu cooked with shrimp roe 5oz, soy bean 1/2cp, some almond
~1500 cal

Grade B today. I should have enough protein in every meal. But, the tortilla chip was the flaw. And no leafy veggie in dinner was also bad.

B: Raw oatmeal,applesauce

Steph, you are into raw oatmeal+applesauce also? How do you like it? It was recommended by my nutritionist as pre work out meal. She said raw oatmeal is higher index. It took me a long time to get used to it. But, I still like the cooked one more.

Breakfast: tuna

Tuna for breakfast. What a good meal, Cardio!

Don't know why. I was so hungry today. (perhaps after the hill runs this morning.)

Pre WO: raw oatmeal+applesauce 1/2cp + some almond
Post WO+B: pineapple 100g, cottage cheese 1/2cp, blackberries 100g
S: some walnuts, hot cocoa 1/4cp, hardboild egg 1
L: Salmon salad (ate half only, too huge), 2 pieces of wheat toast, meat ball soup 1 cp
S: blackberries 150g, the other half of the salmon salad from lunch, french baguette 3 inch roll
D: beef curry 1.5cp, yellow bellpepper 1 cp, multigrain rice 1cp, blackberries 50g, almond+peanut mixed nuts, 1/4cp
~2000 cal or more?

Grade C today. Should have enough protein, but, calories overdose and not much carbs.

OKAY.

I've been going crazy lately, and have gotten a bit chunky lets say.

I seem to be unable to relight the motivation because I've got it in my head that calorie restriction=moody, tired & emaciated and am failing to find a balance. I figure by half way through the day if I've blown it then START tomorrow...unfortunately this cycle has been going on for a month+!

I haven't even had dinner yet and I'm on 2200! AT LEAST! BAD ME! But for dinner I'm having Szechuan eggplants and tofu with rice noodles which should put me at 2600! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

BUT TOMORROW ITS ON. 1850 EVERYDAY. Cycle to school, 3-4 runs a week, weights and step machine 2 a week, and dance classes. My goal date is a party where undoubtedly everyone will be wearing a bikini.

Tomorrow I will have for breakfast: Fruit 'N fibre and an egg (300) AND GET FOCUSSED (I seem to fall off the wagon at breakfast...today it was 900 cals or more...and I was hungry within the same amount of time I would normally if I had a small breakfast =( )

Does anybody have any tips for listening to your body? Halting snacking, beating at home boredom? I know its gonna be the bane of my summer holiday! xxxxx

Glenobo, if you are at home, logon to traineo. Then, you won't be bored. Reading all the interesting posts can stop you from snacking. It works for me.

Today was screwed by poor time management:
Pre-WO: raw oatmeal+applesauce 1/2cp
Post-WO: pineapple 100g, cottage cheese 1/2cp
B: only 1cp of India tea with 1 tsp milk
L: Togo's avocado&turkey 6" wrap 1/2 (too big to finish)
S: the other half of the Togo's wrap, wheat rolls 2
D: Thai seafood curry (with potato, pineapple, carrot) ~2cp, white rice 1cp, spinach salad (with nuts, egg, tomato, cranberries, creamy pepper dressing) 1/2 big plate
~1800 cal or above

Grade D today. I did not even out the time between meals well. The breakfast was in bad quality/quantity. Wait too late for dinner and overate because of hunger. Too much simple carbs in dinner.

Last night was bad-4 x reheated frozen Fried Flounder fillets=Nasty! I shouldn't have indulged in Vodka, I'll eat really unhealthy crap under its influence. The wife bought them, but no one twisted my arm to eat them.

So, this morning huge bowl of Cheerios+skim milk, 24oz 3 scoop protein shake. I still feel miserable from eating that garbage last night though. My body is really letting me know that wasn't cool.

Thanks guys! I'm on about 1770 atm (roughly...) and shouldnt overdo it too much today.

Its harder to stick to any sort of diet on the weekend, so tomorrow I shall be getting focussed for real! I want a bikini ready body!

Tonight: Chicken tagine with couscous! Yummy! Should put me at about 2200 if I have only a bit of couscous and got heavy on veggies and breast meat! yay

Me too! Too many parties in the weekend, and too little calorie buffer.

Just like Jen said, don't be too harsh to yourself as a beginner. Just cut little cal at a time until you get used to it and then further cut a little bit more. Said, you can just simply skip desserts and eat the others as usual. After a few weeks, perhaps, you can cut soda,..after a while, you can cut cookies,...etc. Your body needs time to get used to it.

D: Korean tofu seafood soup, rice 1/2cp, frozen yogurt 2 oz, fruit salad 1/2cp
~1800 cal or more.

Grade C today. Seems too much protein today and no green veggie in the dinner.
