G'day everyone from downunder!!

I had a protein shake for a snack this morning. I did a Body Step class for 1 hour and straight after that I did a 1 hour Body Pump class so I have eaten a sough dough sandwich of lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, salami and hommuos spread.

Tonight I will eat some chicken and vegetables, may be with 1/2 cup brown rice.

Yesterday:
Dinner: more of Mexican dish (400 Cal)
Total: 2150 Cal. Yikes went over by about 400 Cal yesterday. Sometimes it is hard to avoid when somebody else fixes the food though.

Today:
Breakfast: whole wheat bagel with honey peanut butter and 8 ounces of apple juice (400 Cal)

Glovia, I buy the honey peanut butter already mixed together. The brand is Peter Pan and I love it!

I just had a most enjoyable lunch of stir fried red cabbage accented with bacon crumbles. Never made that before and I'll certainly be adding it to the line-up. Once in a while, I just gotta have some bacony goodness.

Then I had a Fuji apple.

Oh, I forgot to say that I had some Reese's pieces eggs yesterday but I counted the calories in the piece of pie. Yesterday's lunch was just a really big estimate anyways.

Today:Snack: bowl of greens (100 Cal) I love greens!! I think maybe they have some kind of vitamin or something in them that I need more of because I really could eat a bowl of them every day for the rest of my life. mmmm

Rachel, what are "greens"? Like a certain kind of lettuce? "Collard greens", maybe?

Inquiring minds...

Mine may be a little bit better because my grandma grows it in her garden so it is really fresh when I eat it. I am super addicted to it. I always ask her to make it for me when I eat at her house. And then she sends me leftovers of course.

I love southern eating. I love corn bread, stuffed cabbage, pintos, greens, green beans, meatloaf, corn on the cob, chicken and dumplins, watermelon, I mean really the list could go on and on. My grandma is an amazing cook.

Lunch: (box lunch at meeting) small serving of pasta salad, fruit, 2/3 of my chicken salad sandwich that was actually on croissant (I'm thinking about 400 Cal, but it's a SWAG)

Snack: raisins (150 Cal)

Ohhhhh... the easter spread. I had a little bit of everything, so I had to stack items. Then I stacked those items down the gullet. Fat pants came back out of the closet.

I won't be looking at the scale until Thursday. That's for sure.

Today has been much better. Yogurt and granola, chicken nuggets and broccoli, lots of water and a couple cups of coffee.

Have the raw oatmeal+applesauce as pre-workout meal this morning. It was recommended by the nutritionist. It was too plain. I think I will need more time to get used to it. Have a Dannon yogart as post-workout meal.

Lunch in Panera Bread. I have a half of sesame chicken salad, garden veggie soup and an apple.

Snacked a banana and half of the Alkins Advantage Chocolate Granola thru the day.

Dinner in Wholefood, a big leafy salad, grilled veggie and some chicken stew.

Everything were good and low carbs,.... except failed to a slice of pineapple pound cake after the dinner!

Mmm, I just enjoyed a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge spinach salad accented with roast turkey breast, grape tomatoes, feta, cucumber and garlic, tossed in an onion-soup-based dollup of lo-fat plain yogurt and a few cranks of fresh black pepper.

And now a nice cuppa.

Caffeine source: dt. mt. dew

Snack: raisins (150 Cal) - I was going to save this for after lunch, but I got hungry again.

Sometimes when I work out a lot, I get hungrier. If I eat as often as I'm hungry, will that make me maintain or is it good to eat when I get hungry?
