Panera Bread Pick 2: asian salad and turkey chickpea chili

It is my all time favorite in Panera. Yummy!

dressing or olive oil

By nature, I dislike oily looking/tasted food also. I do not like any over the counter dressing as well. I normally make my own dressing for salad. I am too picky! That’s why I have to learn to eat variety and balance.

I tried the cottage cheese with oatmeal. I love it. Thanks for the good tips. It has more protein than applesauce also. It is a good mix.

Ooh, this sounds like a fun thread to join in on:

Breakfast: Bowl of high fiber cereal with raisins
Lunch: Pasta lightly tossed in olive oil with sun-dried tomatoes, Roasted pork chop (no sauce, no oil), Steamed broccoli
Dinner: Chicken made with arugula pesto with spaghetti, tasty carrots on the side
Dessert: Glass of milk with a little instant coffee and Splenda

Lunch and dinner both 100% home-cooked, of course

Millisa, it looks like you only got 650 Cal (+ whatever was in the wine) yesterday! That is not enough!!!! You need to eat! You do not want to send your body down the path to starvation.

It is my favorite. Their black bean soup is my next favorite.

Jen, cottage cheese is such a good thing that I did not realized in the past. It is versatile to both sweet and savory disk. It is healthy and taste good also.

B: Oatmeal in low fat chocolate milk and some almond flakes 1 cup, orange 1
S: baby carrot 100g, pb 2 tsp
L: broccoli salad 1, black bean 1 cp, almond 1/2 cp
S+preWO: dannon yogurt 1, hard boiled egg 1
D+PostWO: orange 1/2, salmon 3oz, stream cauliflower 2 cp
~1400cal

I gave myself B+ today. I think I should have more protein in L.

G2 is the lite Gatorade. I like it for training and use the real stuff only for competition now.

Snack: whole grain bread with PB (200)
Snack: protein bar (200)
Before dinner, we visited Whole Foods (it was right next to Newk's) for the first time just to look around, and it looked really awesome. I can't wait to actually eat there some time. I had about 100 Cal of cheese sample. It was really tasty.
Dinner: massive salad from Newk's called the Cobb. Here's the description from the web site: mixed greens, grilled chicken breast, bacon, eggs, gorgonzola cheese, tomatoes, green onions, pecans and croutons tossed with bleu cheese dressing. It was incredibly delicious but it had bleu cheese dressing so that wasn't a great choice. I'm going to say 800 Cal.
Dessert: 2 pieces of dark chocolate and then 3 mini reeses cups. (250)
Total: 2450 Cal. Ugh. I just got out of control yesterday. I just felt so hungry. Maybe it had something to do with my 20 mile bike ride the day before.

Today:
Breakfast: oatmeal crunch with 2 T of honey PB mixed in and it was delicious!! (400)
