Please don't tell me that cool whip is bad for me!!!! It makes my Kashi waffles so much more enjoyable.

You can freeze cool whip and pretend that you have ice cream on top of the waffles.

Tonight, I'm gonna make us some non-yaki-yakisoba. It'll taste similar while being more heart-friendly. I'm gonna steam up a bunch of finely chopped red cabbage, onions and garlic, and boil up some nice whole wheat spaghetti and toss it all together in a home made yakisoba-esque sauce. Bit o' Reisling to wash it down.

After vacuuming, (and mopping) like a mofo here, (read: persian rugs, brush-style vacuum cleaner head, SHEDDING LIKE HELL YELLOW LAB, MUDPIT backyard in rainy ass France with white tiles throughout), I have worked up a farmer-sized hunger and I can't wait to chow the hell DOWN.

I'll tide myself over with some light deli-turkey meat and one of these awesome red pears.

Bon Weekend, all!

Minu, you sure do eat a lot of garlic. I love garlic, but I can't eat it very often because it makes my breath (and body I think) reek for days. It's disgusting. Is there any way around this? Maybe garlic just reacts differently with my body than yours? I don't know.

Maybe it's my half Italian genes that have had many centuries to practice processing it? Or perhaps it's just an acquired thing--you know after a while it just doesn't manifest.

In any case, I've never gotten any comments from folks about it, or been left off of invitation lists, so I guess I'm within the limits of social grace.

Rachael and Minu, i too love Garlic!! I saute it in a little bit of oil and add it to almost all of my lentils and veggies and sometimes eat it raw too.

I have heard of this story though, where this guy ate too many garlic and the smell started pouring out of every pore of his body! Literally! Yuck

This is basically what happens to mean and I work out a lot. It's not pleasant.

I have the same problem, Rachael. I can't eat very much of the stuff at all, or I smell. My husband has that problem with onions. He doesn't like garlic much, but I imagine it's the same.

It makes me very sad, because I absolutely looooooooove garlic!

I can't imagine going without garlic. One of my favorite foods. I put it on vegetables and sometimes even on popcorn.

Because it is that good! I air pop my popcorn usually and then take spray butter substitute on it (0 cals). Then coat it with garlic. I guess I may be kind of strange as well since I have been known to also dip popcorn into hot sauce.

Salmon in Asian sauce and meatloaf. Weird I know but they both looked good so I got both. I figured since I did 45 squat cleans with 135 pounds today, I can pretty much eat whatever I want.

PreWO: raw oatmeal+applesauce 1/2 cup
PostWO+B: deli ham 1, almond 0.5oz, pineapple 150g, apple 1
S: demi ham 1, orange 1
L: Panera bread pick2 combo(Asian Chicken salad, veggie soup),decaf coffee in skim mik/brown sugar, tomato basil bread sample
S: hardboiled egg 1, almond 0.5oz, apple 1, pineapple 150g
D: chicken 3 oz, spinach/onion stir fried 2 cup, 5 medium strawberry

I gave myself B. But, after comming back from the nutritionist, I got C! Still not enough protein. I have lost ~1.5lb this week. But, 0.9lb of muscle. The nutritionist inspected my food daily for the week. She said I still have not had enough protein in snack time. She told me not to touch chocolate, cookies, coffee and the samples in Panera Bread. And, I have waited too long for next meal.

Need to watch out more next week.

Pre-WO: raw oatmeal+applesauce 1/2 cup
Post-WO+breakfast: 2 eggs, pineapple 150g, chocolate soy milk 1, peanut butter 1tsp
S: almond 0.5oz, orange 1/2
L: Wholefood (mixed green salad, chickpea masala, grilled chicken, grilled veggie) 1 full overloaded plate, chicken veggie soup 1 cup
S: Atkins peanut bar 1/2, apple 1
D: mixed seafood veggie casserole, black coffee in skim milk/brown sugar 1 cup
S: almond 0.5oz

I gave myself B- today. I was kind of screw to have 2 lunch and dinner today. I was so hungry today. Perhaps, the ~7 mile run this morning has made my body a grouching tiger for food. But, I did put effort to incorporate more protein in each snack and not to wait too long between each meal. But, I did screw 1 more time with the coffee banded by the nutritionist though. I will be good girl starting from tomorrow.
