Does anyone here use a supplement called ADS Muscle Rush. I think it is similar to the product No-Xplode.

Basically it is creatine, glutamine, and potassium with red bull ingredients in it. I used a similar product a couple of years ago, but they have for sure changed the dosages since then.

I had a really great lifting session, lifting more than I normally do even though I was tired going in. However, I think I used too much for a initial try, and got light-headed and feeling a little too much aggression/pump. I had to walk around the gym a few times to calm myself down. I was having trouble catching my breath and was just super hyper.

I checked my heart rate and it was 120bpm, I am usually about 80bpm when I lift, but 120bpm is still okay. Next time I am only using a quarter of a scoop until I can handle the mix. I also never drink caffeine and cup of coffee gives me the shakes when I try one, so that's another reason why it affected me so much.

I was wondering if other people have had similiar effects to these supplements?

Ok on a google search I found out this is not uncommon. I also didn't eat much before taking the supplement. Next time I'll eat 2 hours before.

I think that your initial reaction to these supplements says it all. I know that they are fairly expensive. You may want to look into more streamlined/proven ways to get energy. I have a friend that took NoXplode for years, switched to Gaak and then had a heart attack in the middle of one of his workouts last year. He's OK, but the MD said it was probably related to all of the supplementation that he took. He was 215 and in great "health" except he relied on these things for energy.

He even commented to me one day that instead of 1 or 2 scoops of NoX, he was upping it to 3 or 4 a SESSION, because he couldn't get the same "effect". Be careful.
