so when i eat lunch i like to eat something warm/hot. I have a toaster oven at work and have gotten in the habbit of eating frozen food over lunchtime. I'd like to start eating more fresh food, I've made some of those pita pizza's i keep hearing about, those are really good, but i need some more ideas. what can i take thats not frozen to work and toast it or cook it? not talking super healthy or anything, just ideas.

that would be good, they take a long time though... i only have an hour. :'(

and we don't have a kitchen at home because we're remodeling, which means i haven't had a home-made dinner in a few years

You can nuke a spud in 10 mins or so in the micro.

My favorite meal:

1/2 cup black beans
1/2 cup brown rice
chopped tomato and avocado
salsa

mixed together YUM! Andy you could put it in a tortilla if you wanted.

Technically, you could cook a meal in the toaster oven, but you're kinda limited on time! You could toss fish, frozen veggies, cous cous and some spices into some foil and have that cooked in about 15min... (remember to add water before cooking)

Tastey... if I have an hour for lunch 15 mins is nothing.

Use a thin, white fish so it cooks quicker, and set that sucker on 500 degrees

Off the top of my head:

Tuna Melts
Tortilla Pizzas
Warmed prepared grains, (rice, bulgar, ble, etc), that you sprinkle with fromage to bake a kind of gratin.

Or do this with veggies, or grains 'n veggies, or some chicken breasts or leftover pasta or...
