To give some background, all summer I was eating approximately 1000 cals a day. Not because I was consciously starving myself or anything, just because I wasn't hungry. Before then I was eating a terrible diet, basically my only fruit/veggie intake was a quarter of a cup of OJ in the mornings.

Long story short since I've started here, I've upped my calorie intake to around 2500, paid close attention to the protein/fat/carb balance of these cals, and eat about 5 cups of fruit/veggies daily. The thing is, I'm having trouble keeping the protein up without increasing the fat tremendously. With that said I've heard fish is probably the answer to my prayers, but for me the very thought of eating fish makes me ill.

Anyway I want to make sure I'm getting a balanced diet so I'm trying to make a shopping list for vitamins and supplements. I'm hoping that by discussing it here first I could save myself some trouble with getting the wrong stuff or whatever. If anyone has any ideas on what I should add/change/remove I would greatly appreciate it. Specifically it would be nice to get some advice as to what kinds of products I should get to "maximize coverage."

Finally sorry for the novel I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff and I'm trying to kill time on a friday afternoon at work

here's what I'm looking for so far:

Whey protein powder
Omega 3, 6, 9
Multivitamins

I'm also wondering how much of what I should shoot for each day. Thanks to anyone who has read this far.
