Hello! This is my first post here in the forums! I'm one of those people who is always saying they are going to lose weight but never does anything about it. I was thin as a rail up until I turned 20 and then suddenly metabolism caught up with me and now I'm trying to teach myself how to incorporate healthy eating and fitness into my lifestyle.

I've tried weight watchers (can't stand counting points) and I tried going to curves for women (can't stand the same workout all the time) but ultimately I just got tired of those programs and realized I need to figure something out for myself that works for me.

So anyway, I'm hoping traineo will finally be the place that helps me get motivated!

@Eloise: Were you able to determine what it was about the Point system that frustrated you so much?

Andrea - thanks for the welcome! Just having the graphs that show my workouts everyday really keeps me motivated to keep logging what I've done!

NYC - I always felt hungry on the points system and I for some reason I was ALWAYS thinking about food when I did weight watchers and it just consumed too much of my energy to always feel pressured to count up the points of whatever I put in my mouth. Plus I've found that over the years it really doesn't matter what I eat, I still stay the same weight - only working out changes anything for me anyway.
