Im Ashley, Im living In Oregon and with the gloomy weather its really hard to get motivated. Anyway, I am getting married on March 4th, 2007. Last summer I went down from 152 lbs to 135. I bought my dress when I weighed 135 and now I am back up to 146. There is no breathing room in that dress and if I dont loose that weight the dress will not fit!! AHH! Plus we are going to cancun for our honeymoon and I want to feel great in a bikini for 5 days straight.

I am 29 years old and have grown passionate about fitness and health! Overall, I have lost and kept off a little over 40 pounds, and I have about 20 or so more that I would like to take off. This last year has been tough and distracting in many ways, and I am back to work now! I am revisiting Traineo, because this site and the people here were instrumental in helping me lose my original 40 pounds so I am back! I regret that because of time constraints I won't be able to be AS active in the forums as I used to, but I will certainly try to stay in there and reconnect with old friend as well as make new ones.
My fitness goals remain the same as before as I haven't achieved them yet: *GOAL 1 = 140 lbs Target Date = 7/31/08 Date Met = TBD CURRENT FITNESS GOALS: Run a 5K, improve flexibility enough to do the splits, be able to do 50 pushups in a row, be able to do a pull-up, learn to do a hand stand and then hand stand pushups. :)

Welcome....and woohoo! Congrats on the wedding! You need to do something to get motivated for sure for that deadline. How about checking out the Biggest Loser competition we have going on right now in the forums? You can still jump in at any time, and if you have any kind of competitive spirit, that may just need the motivation boost that you need.
Again, welcome, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help motivate you for that awesome goal!
Here's to marriage, Cancun and bikinis! <clink>

Okay, on to diet number 5! This month: Neanderthin.
Previous loses are as follows: January, G I Lean ( 4.3kgs ); February, The Hacker's Diet ( 4.5kgs ); March, Johnson UpDayDownDay Diet ( 2.1kgs ); April, YOU: On A Diet ( 700g).
It seems all these diet switches are working. It appeals to my desire for novelty and means I can try diets I never would consider for the long-term. That, and I get to play around collecting data in spreadsheets - always a good thing if you need some work avoidance. Honestly, this is quite fun.

Hi Ashley,
Congrats on the wedding - time is getting short now - it must be hectic!
I'm also getting married a year from now and I have a lot of weight to lose if I don't want to look like something that would take out the Titanic. Weddings are great motivation, aren't they?

Hi! I am trying to lose my freshman 25. I am trying to lose 30 pounds to get back to my original weight. At the same time, I want to be lean and toned. I enjoy activities like running on the treadmill, doing the elliptical and dancing.

Congrats for the wedding! That can be a great motivator for you to drop the pounds. Just imagine how good you will look in your dress and bikinis! Hope the image of that will help. Hope you have a good wedding and honeymoon!

I'm a 23 year old FFB (former fat boy). I'm a grad student at the Univ. of Phoenix. I was married on June 1st, 2007 by a wonderful supportive woman.
I have always been the fat kid so now I've changed that. I started at 305. I lost 80 pounds and was at 225 after I was sick. From Jan 07 to Apr 07, I put on 25 pounds. I then started to lose weight again, but started doing it the right way. I am now 235 and leaner than I was at 225. I'm going to see how close I can get to a 6 pack, but eventually I'll start trying to put on some muscle. Then lean out again.
Six-Pack would be awesome, I've never had one of those. So we'll see. (my photo is me at 305lbs. when i get a good pic of me now at my current weight, i'll post it)
