First things first, I came here thanks to Kimberly (who just introduced herself) she asked me to help be a motivator for her. Kim is my best friend and has been for a while now. We use to work out together but due to work and other things in life, she moved and all that jazz and we no longer live close enough to work out together.

about me....

My name is Carri, Im 22 years old, I have a type of muscular dystrophy that I never let stop me but has taken a toll on staying with workouts due to fatique, but I still workout daily regardless. I use to weigh 265lbs last may and now currently weigh 183lbs. I want to lose about about another 40lbs and be at 140lbs. I am 5'7" tall. I have found it harder and harder to lose the last 40lbs than it was the first 80.

Luckily for me, I worked at a 24hr fitness center as the only manager for 6 months where I was constantly working out. Then upon their closing I decided I loved my new career path to much to give it up and was hired on at Cardinal Fitness as a manager. Im a really healthy eater these days but I will admit, I do have my "bad" days where I have ate poorly. Although I havent gained any weight back, I dont want to stop losing either.

Glad to have you and Kim's lucky to have you as a friend

Good luck with your goal too!

<-- wishes he had a gym job... course I might not get much done standing by the squat rack trying to teach people is not designed for curls.

Welcome Carri! The closer you get to your goal, the harder it is to keep losing weight. But don't lose heart! If it were easy, everyone would do it! Good luck on your goals!

Glad to see you decided to join here. I think this is a really great place thus far and it will help to keep each other motivated since we can't actually see each other every day like we used to. You have actually been my largest motivation simply because of your dedication and your progress. I'm extremely proud and I look up to you in this aspect. (I've never told you that before...I was a little too shy to).

Keep up the good work!!! =)

Thanks for all the encouraging works.

LOL anyone who is using a squat rack for curls...needs to go away from the gym and start over ;) I do love my job soooooooo much, Its hard to go back and actually work out after a long day or go in early, but even if i dont hit the gym directly I do have a bike here at home that I ride at least 20 min everyday and I go running with my doggie as well at least 2x a day. So Im getting in some good workouts. I just actually got back from the gym, took my mom in with me so she could workout and she said she is feeling great and now wants to join, so I will be working with her to help her as well.

Kimbo...sersiously? shy...with me?!? Im your best friend lol. dork. I miss our workouts and everything soooooooooooo much I feel like i havent seen you in decades. Maybe we can get together soon and go for a long walk or something like that.
