hi y'all - I read great things about traineo online so thought I'd give it a try. I really want to lose about 15 lbs and mostly just get on track health-wise on a couple of fronts: exercise, nutrition and sleep. I go back and forth on all of these things and have for years - hoping this time I can stick it. I'm getting older and I think it's crucial I really start taking better care of myself, more consistently that is!

Hi Ladies! Welcome to traineo. I just joined myself a couple of weeks ago and have been looking for ways to use this site to the fullest. I am a 15 pounder too, and can't wait to get it off!!!

How cool is this site? I just stumbled onto it today.

Okay, an intro. In bullet points because, well, I'm lazy...clearly a given - I'm here aren't I? LOL.

* 28 yo mother of three.
* live in Australia
* married
* about 23kg (about 50lbs) above the weight I was when I first met my husband
* which was only 12 years ago...depressing!
* family history of heart disease - both parents had massive heart attacks, my father (at age 50) survived his, my mother (at age 55, several years later) did not.
* my father was also prediabetic
* both parents were obese (*yeah, I'm ticking the boxes too...sigh)
* my mother also survived cancer when she was my age.

That's about the gist of it. I blog (who doesn't these days? LOL) at http://lizzieshome.com/ and http://whisperofgrace.blogspot.com/. As an aside, our eldest (9½) is high-functioning autistic, our middle child (8) is gifted and our little girl (6½) is blissfully 'regular', LOL. I mention this because its an ingrained part of my psyche and I shudder to think of missing out on my kids' lives, or my grandchildren's.

Cheers,
Lizzie
