I am new to Traineo, only a week, but I too am one of those people.
I live just outside Buffalo, NY, so I know where Albany is.

I like the motivation and encouragement that I feel when someone answers a thread, so I feel people might like and appreciate the same. So I answer some too.
I like meeting new people and finding myself accountable to others, then its easier to not want to cheat. But if you do, they are here to encourage you to get back on track.

Welcome to Traineo. I'm one of the 20 people he mentioned. I love Traineo and chatting and helping people out so I respond to a lot of threads (if I know what I am talking about). Good luck on the weight loss journey!

Reply by Patrick Boyle

Hey Dave!
Weight-wise, I'm in the same boat as you. If you're 5' 11" then we could practically be the same person. Although I have a bit more hair (girlfriend won't let me shave it).

But yes, welcome to Traineo. Lots of fun. Lots of logs.
Nice people.
Good advice and such.

Good luck on your goals and whatnot.
And lurk the forums. It's cool to see new people posting actively. I just became a regular visitor myself, and I feel like sometimes the same 20 peop...

Reply by David Mackey

Hi all. My name is Dave Mackey...and I figured I'd drop in and introduce myself. I currently live in the Philly area, though am originally from outside of Albany in New York (almost in the Catskills, but no one knows the name of my little town, so Albany is a good place of reference). In any case, I'm currently employed as a Network Engineer for Collages.net Inc. and also run my own business for Information Technology Professionals called Informed Networker.
I lead a youth group at my...
